Inventory by Warehouse Summary

Updated 2 weeks ago

For key points about SellerCloud's Inventory reports, see the Inventory Value Reports Overview.

This report shows the total physical, reserved, and available inventory and value in each warehouse as of a specific date or a range of dates.

To access this report in SellerCloud, click Reports > Inventory Reports > Inventory by Warehouse Summary.

Take a look at a sample grid report filtered by date range for three warehouses:

For the report showing total physical inventory and value by product per warehouse, see the Inventory by Warehouse Detail report. You can open this version right from the summary by clicking on a warehouse, and then drill down even further into the Inventory by Product Detail by clicking on a product's SKU.

For answers to general questions about using SellerCloud's Financial Reporting Suite, see the Reports FAQs.

Choose your filters

There are numerous filters to include the data you want in your report. (Most filters offer single-choice and multiple-choice fields. See a generic example of both.)

After clicking Run Report to show total physical, reserved, and available inventory and value by warehouse, you can see each specific filter you applied. If a filter is not shown, you left it blank or chose All. Here's a common report filter.

The table below defines each of the filters.

FILTER

DESCRIPTION

Company

Include only the inventory from one or more companies, or include inventory from all companies.

Company Groups*

Include only the inventory from one group of companies, or include inventory from all companies.

*Only shown if you enabled the company group setting and grouped companies together. Learn how.

As of Date or Start Date and End Date

Based on the Date Type filter selected, enter either:

  • As of Date - Enter the date on which to show inventory:
    • The default setting is a daily inventory snapshot as of 11:00 PM yesterday (when the service ran)
    • Click the calendar to see current inventory in today's real-time snapshot. Show me how. Important! Real-time inventory is not stored; it only appears in the report.

  • Start Date and End Date (if Date Range is selected below) - Enter the start and end date period to cover in the report

Date Type

Show inventory in one of 2 ways:

  • As of Date - Include inventory on a specific date. This can be any previous days' daily inventory snapshot as of 11:00 PM (when the service ran), or today's current inventory in a real-time snapshot.
  • Date Range - Include inventory in your selected date range. This requires selecting warehouse(s) before running the report.

Warehouse

Include only the inventory from one or more warehouses, or include inventory from all warehouses (only works when filtering by As of Date).

Note: If you choose "All Warehouses," the report will include inventory in dropship warehouses, unless you select Do Not Include Inventory from Dropship Warehouses, below.

Important! For shadow products, this filter is dependent on the Group Products by Parent SKU setting, below. If checked, the report filters for parent SKUs only; if unchecked, the report filters for all SKUs (parent and child).

  • For one SKU - Enter a specific SKU and click Run Report.
  • For all SKUs in your date range or as of date - Leave this field blank and click Run Report.
  • To enter multiple SKUs - Click SKU List, then enter or copy/paste multiple SKUs on separate lines, then click Select Products to populate the SKU box, and Run Report.
  • To find SKUs - Click the SKU link to open the Search Products window.

Group Products by Parent SKU

Include all inventory for shadow products under the parent SKUs.

Important! When using this setting with the SKU filter above, the report will filter only for parent SKUs.

Do Not Include Warehouses with Zero Inventory

Exclude warehouses that have no available and no reserved inventory.

Do Not Include Inventory from Dropship Warehouses

Exclude inventory in warehouses set as DropShip in the Warehouses' settings.
