Options include:
  • To allow payment via credit card
    • To determine when charge is issued.
    • To require CVV code during checkout.
    • To determine which credit cards are accepted.
    • To determine which credit card processor is used - Authorize.net, FideliPay, USAePay, Merchant One Payment, Paypal
Note: Website shopping carts can operate in several ways.
  1. Some shopping carts only allow the merchant to capture credit card information. In that case the orders would import into SellerCloud with a No Payment status. Payment that then be processed for each order individually through SellerCloud. For these orders you will need to configure Payment Settings to allow credit cards.
  2. Other carts capture and authorize the payment to put a hold on the card but do not actually charge the card. In that case orders would come into SellerCloud with an Authorized status. For these orders you will need to configure Payment Settings to allow credit cards.
  3. Other carts do complete the charge process. (While Magento refers to this as Captured and Authorized, they actually do charge the credit card.) In that case the orders would come in with a Paid status. For these orders you do not need to configure Payment Settings to allow credit cards because the process was already completed in your website.
  • To allow payment via PayPal - This setting is applicable only when your website is hosted by SellerCloud. There is no manual process within SellerCloud to initiate a payment by PayPal but it can be recorded on the Receive Payment page of an order by selecting Receive Manual Payment and selecting PayPal from the Payment Type drop down.
  • To allow payment via Amazon Checkout - This setting is applicable only when your website is hosted by SellerCloud. There is no manual process within SellerCloud to initiate a payment by Amazon Checkout.
