Amazon Products: ASIN Merge Audit


Overview

Sometimes, Amazon merges two ASINs when there are identical products on separate ASINs. The merge results in a deleted ASIN, which can cause multiple problems. Amazon will notify sellers when their listings have been merged. The Amazon ASIN Merge Audit allows you to apply a new ASIN on the product in Sellercloud.


Perform Amazon ASIN Merge Audit

  1. Go to Catalog > Amazon ASIN Merge Audit.
  2. Select a company. The grid will show all products with an ASIN that has since changed on Amazon.
  3. Select the products to change and press the Dismiss Selected Items icon.
    Note: Alternatively, you can disable them for Amazon by pressing the Disable Selected Items icon.The image shows the above-mentioned options.
  4. The new ASIN will populate in the ASIN field on Catalog > Manage Catalog > Open a product > Toolbox > Channels > Amazon Properties > General panel.
  5. The product will be removed from the Amazon ASIN Merge Audit page.
Sometimes Amazon will merge two ASINs together. Typically, this is done when there are identical products on separate ASINs. The merge results in a deleted ASIN, which can cause multiple problems. Amazon will notify sellers when their listing has been merged.
The Amazon ASIN Merge Audit lets you apply the new ASIN on the product in Sellercloud.

  1. Click Inventory > Amazon ASIN Merge Audit.
  2. Select a company. The grid will show all products with an ASIN that has since changed on Amazon.
  3. Select the products to change.
  4. Open the Action Menu and select Dismiss Selected. The new ASIN will populate in the ASIN field on the Amazon Properties page. The product will be removed from the grid.
  5. Alternatively, you can disable for Amazon by selecting the products and selecting Disable Selected in the Action Menu.
