Create a new SKU
You can create SKUs for products across channels in Sellercloud.
To create a new product in Sellercloud:
- Go to Catalog > Add New Product.
- Fill out all the details.
- Optionally, you can have a random SKU generated for you.
- Click Create Product.
Rename a SKU
You can only rename SKUs with no history. This includes any inventory or movement, the item being on any orders or purchase orders, or a part of any kit, variation, shadow, etc.
To change a SKU:
- From the Manage Catalog page, select the product, click the Actions icon, then Change Product SKU.
- From the Product Details page, click Actions and select Change Product SKU.
- Then enter the New SKU and click Change.
Clone a SKU
The Copy SKU action enables you to copy product information to one or more existing products. All information will be copied over, including blank fields. This is similar to cloning a new SKU; however, this action only updates an existing SKU.
To copy data from one product to another:
- Go to the Manage Catalog page.
- Select a product.
- Click the Actions icon and select Clone SKU.
- Use the New SKU field to select a SKU that you want to update with the copied information. Optionally, you can also:
- Select another company.
- Select another fulfillment method.
- Copy the UPC and ASIN.
- Click Clone SKUs, and the information will be copied over to the selected SKUs.
Create a SKU
To create a new product in Sellercloud:
- Click the Inventory tab.
- Click Add New Product.
- Fill out all the details. Optionally, you can have a SKU generated for you.
- Click Add New Product.
Alternatively, you can create products in bulk through a file import, via sales channels, or via API.
Copy a SKU
The Copy SKU action enables you to copy product information to one or more existing products. All information will be copied over, including blank fields. This is similar to cloning a new SKU; however, this action only updates an existing SKU.
To copy data from one product to another:
- Select the product from the Manage Inventory page.
- Click Select Action > Copy SKU > Go.
- Use the Search For field to select a SKU that you want to update with the copied information, or click the text box and enter the SKU(s).
- Click Submit, and the information will be copied over to the selected SKUs.

Note that the Client Setting Hide options to merge or change product SKU must be on.
To change a SKU:
- Select the product from the Manage Inventory page.
- Click Select Action > Change Product SKU > Go.
- Enter the New SKU and click Change SKU.
