To configure your Wayfair Properties on Sellercloud:
- Navigate to Inventory > Manage Inventory > Choose and open a Product.
- Open the Toolbox > Wayfair Properties > Click Edit.
General Panel
Option | Description |
Enabled | This option allows Sellercloud to start sending automatic inventory updates for that SKU. |
Discontinued | Notes whether or not the product has been discontinued. |
Merchant SKU | Alternate SKU used to communicate a product to а specific channel. |
Wayfair Product ID | A unique Wayfair Product ID. Once you list your product, Sellercloud will pull this information and populate the field. |
Inventory Panel
Option | Description |
Composite Wood | The product is related to composite wood. |
Replenishable | Enabling this option allows you to sell a specific item regardless of the available quantity. When updating different channels, Sellercloud sends a fixed quantity for replenishable products, so it consistently shows a specific available quantity. |
Enable Default Qty | This only applies to Replenishable products. For these products, the Default Quantity is the number that will always be sent to the channel in inventory updates regardless of the actual available inventory. |
Safety Qty | The buffer between the amount of inventory you have and the amount Sellercloud is sending to the channel to prevent overselling on high-selling items. It is used to subtract a number from the available quantity. When a product is set to Replenishable, the Safety Quantity is ignored. |
Available Qty | The inventory available quantity for sale, i.e., the physical quantity in all sellable warehouses, minus unshipped orders and reserves. |
Qty for Wayfair | The available inventory for Wayfair. |
Pricing Panel
Option | Description |
Wayfair Price | The product’s price on Wayfair. |
Default | Enable Default to use the product’s Site Price instead of a separate unique price. |
Wayfair Cost | The price the seller pre-determined with Wayfair, and it can overwrite the Product Price on orders coming in from Wayfair. |

Additional Product Configuration
Update Replenishable Products
For products marked as Replenishable (product is sold regardless of the available quantity), select the Enable Default Qty setting. Otherwise, the inventory feed will only send a quantity of 1. The following options will become available once this setting is enabled:
- Use Default (pre-selected) — Keep this selected if you want to use the Default Qty from the Wayfair Settings page; or
- Default Qty (used for replenishable products only) — Uncheck the Use Default box and enter a specific number that will always be sent to Wayfair in inventory updates, regardless of the actual inventory available for this product.
Discontinue Wayfair products
If an item has no available quantity, an order can still be placed on Wayfair for it unless it is discontinued. For a product to be discontinued on Wayfair, it must be marked as Discontinued in Sellercloud and have 0 quantity on the product’s Wayfair Properties page. To reactivate the item, simply uncheck Discontinued and Save.
Variations
Backorder Quantity
When you are using the Backorder option for Wayfair, you need to enable Send Backorder Information on the Wayfair General Company Settings Page. When enabled, we will send inventory for out-of-stock products following these rules:
- If the OnOrder quantity of the product is > 0, and the expected delivery date is set to a date in the future, then Sellercloud will send the quantity on order, and the set expected delivery date automatically.
- If there is an OnOrder quantity but no expected delivery date set, Sellercloud will send both fields. However, the expected delivery date will be set to one month in the future.
- If there is no OnOrder quantity and no expected delivery date, Sellercloud will send the quantity as zero.
