You can boost the visibility and performance of your listings on eBay by creating promoted listings. Learn how to view, edit and create eBay marketing campaigns in Sellercloud.

eBay Marketing Campaign Types
There are two types of eBay marketing campaigns in the Sellercloud system:
- A Key Based campaign – This is the default type of campaign. If you select this type you will need to manually add any listings of your choice to the campaign
- A Rule Based campaign – Rules are conditions that eBay will use when adding listings to the campaign. Any currently existing eBay listings that fit the rules will be auto-added to this campaign by eBay. You can create new rules or use existing ones
Add New Campaigns
Create a Rule Based Campaign
- Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Open a company.
- Click Toolbox > Channels > eBay Settings > Marketing Campaigns.
- Click Add New Campaign.
- Enter your campaign details.
- Enable Is campaign rule-based? and click Next.
- Fill in rule details and click Save Rule. (You can add up to 10 rules).
- When you’ve finished adding rules click Post Campaign to eBay.
Note: Sellercloud will eventually auto-import the listings that match this campaign’s rules. So for this type of campaign, there is no need to add items manually.
Create a Key Based Campaign
- Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Open a company.
- Click Toolbox > Channels > eBay Settings > Marketing Campaigns.
- Click Add New Campaign.
- Enter your campaign details.
- Click Add Products:
- Search products and add them
- or upload products in a file via Bulk Upload
- Ad Rate per item (or Get Suggested Ad Rate or Use Suggested Ad Rate).
- When you finish adding items you’ll complete the wizard, which will update the campaign on eBay.
- When you finish adding items, click Revise Ad Rate on eBay.
Download Campaigns and Ads
In Sellercloud you can view your existing marketing campaigns, download them from eBay and edit details.
- Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Open a company.
- Click Toolbox > Channels > eBay Settings > Marketing Campaigns.
- You will see the list of all marketing campaigns with their status and general details.
- Select the appropriate eBay Site from the dropdown list for your integrated eBay account.
- You can download marketing campaigns from eBay by clicking Actions > Download Campaigns and Ads.
- You can click Edit Detail to edit a marketing campaign.

Create a Key Based Campaign
- Go to Settings > Company Settings > Open a company.
- Click Toolbox > eBay Settings > Marketing Campaigns.
- Click Create New Campaign.
- Enter your campaign details. Click Post Campaign to eBay.
- You have 2 options:
- Search products and add them by clicking Add Items to Campaign
- Upload products in a file (Choose File from your computer and click Upload File)
- Once you’ve added items they will show up in the Selected Items for Ads section. Then Ad Rate per item (or do Get Suggested Ad Rate or Use Suggested Ad Rate) and press Add Items to Campaign. Then they’ll show up under the Ads section.
- Click Post Campaign to eBay.
- When you finish adding items, click Revise Ad Rate on eBay.
Download Campaigns and Ads
In Sellercloud you can view your existing marketing campaigns, download them from eBay and edit details.
- Go to Settings > Company Settings > Open a company.
- Click Toolbox > eBay Settings > Marketing Campaigns.
- You will see the list of all marketing campaigns with their status and general details.
- You can download marketing campaigns from eBay by selecting Download Campaigns and Ads from the dropdown list > Go.
- You can click Edit to edit a marketing campaign.
