PeopleVox Account Integration

Overview

PeopleVox is a warehouse management solution (WMS) by Descartes Systems Group designed to streamline operations and enhance efficiency in eCommerce fulfillment. It offers real-time inventory tracking, order management, and seamless integration with other systems, supporting your every retail and logistics need.

Integrating Sellercloud with PeopleVox allows you to export orders, products, and POs, as well as import tracking, inventory updates, and receivings. The integration works through API, transmitting information between the two services.

Your server must be updated on or after March 25, 2025. Hover over the i icon in the bottom left corner to check the Compiled Date.
To have a dedicated representative complete the testing for your account and ensure that the setup is configured correctly, we recommend opting in for Premium Support.

Prerequisites

Before you can establish the integration with PeopleVox, complete the following requirements:

  • You must have an account with PeopleVox that has all the necessary permissions and API access.
  • The PeoplevoxServices Windows Service must be running on your server. Open a ticket with Sellercloud Support to ensure the service is installed.

Integrate with PeopleVox

To establish the connection between Sellercloud and PeopleVox:

  1. Go to Company Settings.
  2. From the Toolbox > Click PeopleVox > General Settings.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the PeopleVox Settings panel:
    1. Check Peoplevox Enabled.
    2. Peoplevox ClientId – You can find your Client ID when you log into your PeopleVox account. It is in the top left corner of the page and in the URL. For example, in “https://xxx.peoplevox.net/ABC123/” ABC123 is the client ID.
    3. Peoplevox UserName and Peoplevox Password – These are your PeopleVox login credentials. They will be used for the API authentication.
    4. Peoplevox Domain – You can find your domain at the beginning of your PeopleVox URL. For example in “https://xxx.peoplevox.net/” XXX is the domain.
  5. Click Save. Then, from Actions, select Test Settings to ensure your credentials are correct.

Once the connection has been established, you can configure which functionalities you want to use:

  1. Go to the PeopleVox > General Settings page.
  2. In the PeopleVox Settings panel:
    1. Export Orders – Enables Sellercloud to automatically send new orders to PeopleVox for fulfillment.
    2. Order Upload Limit Date – You can set the earliest date you want included in the order export request. Orders placed before this date will not be uploaded to PeopleVox.
    3. Sync Tracking Information from PVX – Enables Sellercloud to automatically import tracking and carrier information from PeopleVox.
    4. Tracking Download Limit Date – You can set the earliest date you want included in the tracking import request. Orders shipped before this date will not be downloaded from PeopleVox.
    5. Export Product Data – Enables Sellercloud to automatically export product details to PeopleVox.
    6. Sync Inventory from PVX – Enables Sellercloud to automatically import current inventory levels from PeopleVox.
    7. Export Purchase Orders (POs) – Enables Sellercloud to automatically export new Purchase Orders to PeopleVox.
    8. Sync Receiving Details from PVX – Enables Sellercloud to automatically import Purchase Order receiving sessions.
    9. (In development) Enable Product Download, Enable Inventory UploadEnable RMA Upload – These functionalities are currently being developed.
  3. The Saved View panel allows you to choose how your orders, POs, and products are filtered out before sending to PeopleVox.
    You must create and assign Saved Views to successfully export Orders, Products, and POs.


PeopleVox Documents

The PeopleVox Documents tab provides information about each API call transmitted between the two services. You can search for specific document types or filter by date of execution. This page is useful for troubleshooting and identifying potential errors.

To access all PeopleVox-related documents:

  1. Go to Company Settings.
  2. Click Toolbox and select PeopleVox > Documents.
  3. Select a Document Type and a Saved On date.
  4. Click Search.
