Overview
Groupon is an eCommerce platform that connects consumers with local businesses and national brands through discounted deals on products and services. Integrating your Groupon account with Sellercloud allows you to update inventory and prices, import orders, and export tracking and invoice information via API.
Groupon previously operated Groupon Goods and Groupon Marketplace as separate platforms, but they have since merged into a single one. To support this transition, two sets of settings remain available—one for the Groupon Marketplace setup and another for the Groupon Goods configuration outlined below. We strongly recommend using the Groupon Account Integration, as it aligns with the latest platform structure, ensuring better compatibility and smoother operations.
Groupon is deprecating EDI support for inventory upload effective March 31, 2025. To migrate this functionality to API, follow the instructions outlined below.
Prerequisites
Before you can integrate your Groupon account, complete the following requirements:
- Obtain your credentials:
- For your Supplier ID, contact your Groupon representative.
- For your Client ID, go to https://scm.commerceinterface.com/client_id/
- For your API Token, click https://scm.commerceinterface.com/accounts/login/?next=/access_tokens/
Integrate with Groupon
To connect your Groupon account with Sellercloud:
- Go to Company Settings.
- From the Toolbox, click GroupOn > General Settings.
- Click Edit.
- Check the Enable For Groupon box.
- Fill in your credentials.
To see the Inventory API Client ID option, your server must have been updated on or after March 28, 2025. Hover over the i icon in the bottom left corner to check the Compiled Date.
- Enable any other transactions you intend to use and configure the remaining options as needed, e.g., Order Import, Tracking Export, etc.
- Click Save.
- Access the Actions menu > Test Credentials to verify your API connection and settings.
