Walmart Marketplace Canada Account Integration


Overview 

Walmart Marketplace Canada is one of the highest-ranking Canadian online marketplaces in terms of net sales. Sellercloud is an approved full-service Walmart Solution Provider with all the integrated tools you need to optimize your e-commerce business from listing to fulfillment and everything in between.

Walmart Marketplace Canada offers various products, from groceries to electronics, apparel, home furnishings, and much more. 


Prerequisites

To integrate your Sellercloud account with Walmart Marketplace Canada, you will need to set up your seller account on Walmart. You can apply here, to sell on Walmart Marketplace Canada. Once you register, you will receive a welcome email from Walmart Marketplace. Click the registration link and create your account, then register your company. 

Next, you will need to create your partner profile in Seller Center. This is the representation of your company to customers on Walmart.ca.

Your integrated company with Walmart Marketplace Canada must have a Country Code of CA and a currency of CAD in Sellercloud. If you do not have a Canadian company, create one with that configuration in Sellercloud. 

If you have a Walmart Marketplace US account integrated with Sellercloud and now want to integrate with Walmart Marketplace Canada, you must create a new company within Sellercloud for the integration. 

To configure the connection in Sellercloud, you will need to obtain all of the necessary information from the Walmart Marketplace portal.

  1. Log in to Seller Center Developer Portal and click My Account.
  2. Click on your Marketplace Region.
  3. Log in with your Seller Center ID.
  4. Click on Regenerate to generate your Private Key.
You must have an Admin role type in Seller Center to be able to Regenerate an API Key. Regenerating a new Key will disrupt all of your current API connections.

Integrate with Walmart Marketplace Canada

Once you obtain all of the necessary information mentioned above, to initiate the integration in Sellercloud you will need to perform a few steps.

  1. Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies.
  2. Open your Company > Toolbox > Walmart Marketplace General Settings.
  3. Click Edit.
    1. Enter the Consumer ID and Private Key copied from Seller Center. 
    2. Enter your Walmart Partner ID.
    3. (Optional) To be able to Get Info from Walmart, enter your Affiliates API ConsumerID.
    4. In the Walmart Display Name field, enter your company name as it will appear to your Walmart.ca customers.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Go to the Action Menu.
  6. Click Verify Private Key.
It may take up to 24 hours after you generated the keys for them to be available for this verification. If so, wait for them to be available and repeat.
