To change your payment settings, you must sign up for waytopay.me. This allows you to customize your payment settings, such as setting up credit card processors, with no additional costs.

Payment by Credit Card

Settings include:

  • Pre-Authorize Cards At Checkout (Charge When Shipped)
  • Charge Full Amount To Cards At Checkout
  • Require CVV Code During Check-Out
  • Which credit cards are accepted

Be aware that website shopping carts can operate in several ways:

  • Carts that only let the merchant capture credit card information. In this case, orders import into Sellercloud with a No Payment status. Payment would then be processed for each order individually through Sellercloud. For these orders, you must configure the Payment Settings to allow credit cards.
  • Carts that capture and authorize the payment to put a hold on the card, but do not actually charge the card. In this case, orders come into Sellercloud with an Authorized status. For these orders, you must configure the Payment Settings to allow credit cards.
  • Carts that complete the charging process. (Magento refers to this as Captured and Authorized, but they actually charge the credit card.) In this case, the orders come in with a Paid status. For these orders, you do not need to configure the Payment Settings to allow credit cards since the process was already completed on your website.

Library of Credit Cards

There is a setting to create a library of credit cards for payment records of purchase orders. To create a library, go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Select a company > Toolbox > Credit Cards. A new page will open with this dialogue box. First, click on the Add New Card button.
