Understanding credit card processors
Setting up a credit card payment processor allows you to accept credit card payments. The payment processor refers to the company that handles the processing of purchases made with credit cards. Some payment processors assist with technology needs and customer service as well, acting as middle-man to the card associations and banks. Sellercloud lets you integrate with many different processors.
You can configure Sellercloud to process credit card transactions using a number of different credit card gateways. You can use any of the following processors:
- Braintree Processor (v:1.0.0.0)
- Authorize.Net Processor (v:2004.0.1117.0)
- CardKnox Credit Card Processor (v:1.0.0.0)
- FideliPay Credit Card Processor (v:1.0.0.2)
- PayTrace Credit Card Processor (v:1.0.0.1)
- Merchant One Payment Processor (v:1.0.0.0)
- Paypal Credit Card Processor (v:2018.11.13.1)
- RedFin Credit Card Processor (v:1.0.0.0)
- Square Processor (formerly SquareUp) (v:2.0.1.1)
- Stripe Credit Card Processor (v:1.0.0.2)
Once you have decided on a processor, you can upload your processor details into Sellercloud and select which processor you want to use.
To upload your processor information:
- Go to Settings > Select your company.
- Go to Toolbox > Payment Settings.
- Click the Select Your Processor button > Click Edit for the processor you want to upload your new details for > Input your information.
- Click Save Setting. You will be redirected to your Payment Settings page.
To select your processor:
- Go to Settings > Select your company.
- Go to Toolbox > Payment Settings.
- Click the Select Your Processor button > Select your processor > Click Continue.
- You will be redirected back to the Payment Settings page > Click Save Settings.
