Overview
Integrating Home Depot with your Sellercloud account allows you to seamlessly manage your listings, import and monitor your orders, configure various product properties, create invoices, and send back shipping information. By automating key processes and customizing your workflow, you can not only save valuable time but also enhance overall efficiency.

Home Depot General Settings
To configure your Home Depot General Settings:
- Navigate Settings > Companies > Manage Companies and open a company.
- From the Toolbox, select Channels > HomeDepot Settings > Home Depot General.
- Click Edit, configure the desired options, and Save your changes.
The following tables explain the available settings and their purposes.
OPTION | DESCRIPTION |
HomeDepot Enabled | Indicates if a company is live on Home Depot. When enabled, Sellercloud will start sending and receiving automatic updates from Home Depot. |
Customer ISA Qualifier | Set to ZZ. |
Customer ISA ID | Typically a unique number. We suggest you use your phone number. |

Supplier/Warehouse ID | This is your supplier identification number in Home Depot. Serves the same purpose as a Remit ID. |
HomeDepot Shipping Reference Number | Home Depot requires a reference number for each shipping label. This reference number is typically provided by CommerceHub and used in Shipbridge. |
Order Handling Fee | This setting determines the cost of processing and managing an order on Home Depot. |
Order Handling Fee Is Per Item | This setting determines if the handling fee is applied per item rather than to the entire order. When enabled, the total handling fee is calculated based on the sum of fees for all items. |
Order Defective Allowance | Sets an allowance for defective items. |
Login Email | Enter a Home Depot login email. |
Login Password | Enter a Home Depot login password. |
Safety Qty | Set a Safety Quantity for your Home Depot listings. |
Default Qty | This only applies to Replenishable products. The Default quantity is the quantity that will always be sent with the channel in inventory updates regardless of the actual available inventory. |
Enable Inventory Upload | Enables Sellercloud to send automatic inventory updates for your Home Depot-enabled products. |
Enable Prices Upload | Allows Sellercloud to send automatic pricing updates for your listings. |
Enable Invoice Upload | Enable automatic invoice upload for each shipped order from your Sellercloud account to Home Depot. |
Enable Order Download | Enable automatic order download from Home Depot to your Sellercloud account. |
Skip Vend Invoices | When enabled, VEND orders will not be imported into Sellercloud. |
Create Orders Under One User | Enable this setting to ensure that Home Depot orders will be imported under the same customer email rather than generating a new one for each order. |
Enable Origin based State Tax (For Homedepot Canada Only) |
For Home Depot Canada Only. By default, tax is calculated based on order Destination. When this setting is enabled, it will be calculated based on Origin. |
Enable Order Functional Acknowledgement | Informs Home Depot that the order file has been received. |
Enable Order Acknowledgement | Informs Home Depot that the order file has been accepted and is being processed. |
Enable Order Fulfillment Upload | Automatically update the order status on Home Depot with tracking information and ship date. |
Import Orders as UnPaid |
When enabled, Home Depot orders will have UnPaid status upon import. |
Requires Third Party Shipping | Enable this setting to have your Home Depot orders shipped using a third-party account. |
FTP Settings

Use Passive | Enable this setting to use passive mode for data transfer. This can be helpful in bypassing firewalls filtering the data port connection from the server. |
Use Secure FTP (SSH) | Enable this setting if you are using a Secure File Transfer Protocol connection (SFTP). |
Delete FTP Files After Processing | If incoming files are not periodically cleared from the FTP server, it may cause retrieval timeouts. To avoid FTP clutter, enable this option. We strongly recommend checking this box only after you test the Home Depot order download. |
FTP Folder For… (Orders, Inventory, Tracking, etc.) | Specify the file path for storing different file types. If you plan to use the root folder for all transactions, enter “/” as the path. |

- Test FTP Credentials – Use this action to ensure that your FTP credentials are working correctly.
- Export Inventory – Use this action to manually trigger an inventory update for your Home Depot-enabled products.
