Transshipping from FBA

Overview

When shipping via FBA, the order will be shipped to the customer’s address by default. However, you can transship these orders by changing the Ship To address to your company address. This can be particularly helpful when a customer orders an item that can’t be shipped via FBA (this is common with international orders). If the Transshipment option is selected, the item will be shipped to your warehouse where you can then ship it via international shipping methods.

Transship an Order

  1. Navigate to Orders > Manage Orders > Open an order > click Actions > Ship via FBA.
  2. Fill in the mandatory information > Select Transshipment.Transshipment
  3. Ensure all information is correct, including FBA SKU. When finished, click Ship Order

When in transshipment, the order will be marked as DropshipStatus=Processed, to prevent the order from shipping. However, the Unshipped status will remain until the order is shipped from your warehouse. This way, tracking will not be updated to the order source until the item has been shipped to the customer. Once the items are received in the warehouse, set the order to DropshipStatus=None. This allows the order to be shipped in Shipbridge.
