Etsy Settings Explained

You can find an explanation of each of the Etsy settings in the table below.

SETTING DESCRIPTION
CREDENTIALS PANEL

Etsy Enabled

Indicates a company is live on Etsy. When enabled, Sellerclud will start sending and receiving automatic updates from Etsy.

 API Secret

Confirmation codes generated by Etsy. These fields are not editable.

API Key

Shop Name

The name of your Etsy Shop.

New Listing Status

You can set the status for new Etsy listings to draft or active by default.

Safety Qty

A buffer between the amount of inventory you have and the amount Sellercloud is sending to the channel to prevent overselling on high-selling items.

Max Qty

Set to limit the inventory available for Etsy. For example, if an Etsy-enabled SKU has available quantity of 10, but the Max quantity is set to 7, Sellercloud will only send 7 to Etsy.

Default Qty

Only applies to Replenishable products. For these products, the Default quantity is the number that will always be sent to the channel in inventory updates regardless of the actual available inventory.

OPTIONS PANEL

Enable Order Download

Select this option when you are ready to ship Etsy orders. It will allow automatic order import from Esty.

Enable Fulfillment Upload

Enable this setting to automatically update the tracking and Ship Date on Etsy’s order status page.

Enable Listings Download

When enabled, this setting allows Sellercloud to download your existing Etsy listings. You can disable it only if Enable Inventory And PriceUpload is disabled.

Enable Inventory and Price Upload

Select this to update inventory and prices on Etsy.

Enable this option when both your inventory and price are accurate for listings. You may want to set a default safety quantity for your inventory updates. Please note that if an item is not Etsy Enabled at the product level, it may still be included in the updates but with a quantity of zero.

This setting cannot be enabled without Enable Listings Download being checked first.

Update inventory for Etsy-enabled products only

Select this to send updates only for Etsy Enabled products in their Etsy Properties.

Enable Settlement Download

When enabled, Sellercloud will continually request the latest remittance report from Etsy.

If you are using Etsy shop sections to organize your items and want these sections to be available in each product’s Etsy Properties’ Shop Section dropdown field, click the Action Menu > Download Shop Sections > Go.
