InventoryMaxQuantity

Overview

In Sellercloud, the Inventory Max Quantity option limits available inventory so that it never displays the full quantity on the channel, even if more is available. For example, if there are 500 units available for a specific product and the Inventory Max Quantity is set to 10, a quantity of 10 will be sent to the channel. If the available quantity drops to 5, a quantity of 5 will be sent to the channel.

Not all channels have this option, which might have slightly different names on different channels.

Enable Inventory Max Quantity

Inventory Max Quantity can be set to a company level and product level. Before it can be set on a specific product level, however, it first needs to be set to a company level. For example, when enabled on a company level with Inventory Max Quantity set to 10, all products will default to 10. By overriding the Inventory Max Quantity on a product level, a quantity of 5 for that product will be sent to the channel while a quantity of 10 will be sent for all other products.

Enable Inventory Max Quantity for a Company

  1. Access Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Select your company.

But if the available quantity drops to 5, a quantity of 5 will be sent to Amazon. InventoryMaxQuantity can be set on a company level and on a product level on Amazon Properties . Before it can be set on a specific product, it first needs to be enabled on the company level.
