Overview
In Sellercloud you can configure shipping API for different shipping partners.
Configure Shipping API
When manually creating an order, Sellercloud can use a shipping carrier’s API to obtain available shipping rates from the carrier and show them in the Rates window. To do that:
- Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Open a company.
- Go to Toolbox > Shipping API > Edit.
- Enter the API credentials for each carrier.
- Obtain credentials for each carrier:
- Obtain UPS API credentials
- Obtain FedEx API credentials
- Obtain USPS API credentials. If you have Endicia credentials, you can enter those at the bottom for the API.
- Go to Enable Shipping Rates Using panel > Check the box for the desired shipping carrier.
- Fill in the credentials in the desired panels > Save.
Test Credentials
Once you have populated the desired fields for the shipping carrier of your choice, you can test if the connection is established:
- For UPS and USPS:
- For USPS: Click Test USPS Credentials.
- For FedEx: Click Test Fedex Rate & Shipping Credentials to test the rate and shipping you entered > TestFedExCredentials Note: If you are getting an error, enable the checkbox for “Use Parent Credentials”. This is required if you registered your credentials through Shipbridge..
- For Endicia: Click Test Endicia Credentials.

You can configure the following settings on the Shipping API page:

- Go to Company Settings > Toolbox > Shipping API.
- Enter the API credentials for each carrier.
- If you do not have credentials:
- Obtain UPS API credentials
- Obtain FedEx API credentials
- Obtain USPS API credentials. If you have Endicia credentials, you can enter those at the bottom for the API.
For UPS and USPS:
- Generate Request/Response Access XML files from the Action Menu. Again, this is only necessary if you do not have permanent credentials from the carrier.

- For UPS, select the Address Validation radio button and Use Customer Integration Environment (CIE) URL.
- Download the files and email them to the carriers.
