Newegg.com is a leading tech-focused online retailer. Learn how to automate order downloads, updating the order’s status, and refunding Newegg orders from your Sellercloud account.
Automate Order Download and Tracking Upload
You can enable automatic order download from Newegg to your Sellercloud account.
- Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Select a company.
- In Toolbox, select Newegg.com > General Settings > Edit.
- In the Controls panel, select Enable Order Download. Orders download approximately every 30 minutes.
- SelectEnable Order Fulfillment Upload. Tracking and shipment dates will automatically be sent to Newegg to update the order status there.
- Click Save.
Shipping Method Mapping
You can map each order’s shipping methods to a preferred shipping carrier and service.
- Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Select a company.
- In Toolbox, select Newegg.com > Shipping Method Mapping > Edit.
- For each Newegg Method Name, select a Shipping Method > Click Save.
Refund a Newegg Order
- Go to Orders > Manage Orders > Select an order.
- On the Order Detail page, select Actions > Issue Refund.
- Enter the amount to refund > add notes > Click Refund. Line item refunds and partial refunds are allowed.
- Sellercloud will submit the refund information to Newegg and adjust the payment status of the order.
- After the refund has been processed, Newegg will issue the refund.
Cancel a Newegg Order
Unless a Newegg order is marked as Ship Confirmed on Newegg, it can be canceled.
- Go to Orders > Manage Orders > Select an order.
- On the Order Detail page, select Actions > Cancel Order.
- Choose the reason for cancellation > Select an SKU > Click Neweggcom Cancel Order.
You can use the client setting Put Newegg.com Orders on Hold if not Shipped Within ____Days to prevent the orders from loading into Shipbridge. The orders can then be filtered by the order status On Hold for processing.
