This report shows the total physical, reserved, and available inventory and value in each warehouse as of a specific date or a range of dates.
To access this report in Sellercloud, click Reports > Inventory Reports > Inventory by Warehouse Summary.
Take a look at a sample grid report filtered by date range for three warehouses:

For the report showing total physical inventory and value by product per warehouse, see the Inventory by Warehouse Detail report. You can open this version right from the summary by clicking on a warehouse, and then drill down even further into the Inventory by Product Detail by clicking on a product’s SKU.
Choose your filters
There are numerous filters to include the data you want in your report. (Most filters offer single-choice and multiple-choice fields. See a generic example of both.)

After clicking Run Report to show total physical, reserved, and available inventory and value by warehouse, you can see each specific filter you applied. If a filter is not shown, you left it blank or chose All. Here’s a common report filter.
The table below defines each of the filters.
FILTER | DESCRIPTION |
Company | Include only the inventory from one or more companies, or include inventory from all companies. |
Company Groups* | Include only the inventory from one group of companies, or include inventory from all companies.
*Only shown if you enabled the company group setting and grouped companies together. Learn how. |
As of Date or Start Date and End Date | Based on the Date Type filter selected, enter either:

Date Type | Show inventory in one of 2 ways:

Warehouse | Include only the inventory from one or more warehouses, or include inventory from all warehouses (only works when filtering by As of Date).
Note: If you choose “All Warehouses,” the report will include inventory in dropship warehouses, unless you select Do Not Include Inventory from Dropship Warehouses, below. |
Purchaser (Buyer) | Include only the inventory for products belonging to one or more purchasers, or include all products. |
Product Group | Include only the inventory for products belonging to one or more product groups, or include all products. |
Vendor | Include only the inventory for products belonging to one vendor, or include all products. |
Manufacturer | Include only the inventory for products belonging to one manufacturer, or include all products. |
Brand | Include only the inventory for products belonging to one brand, or include all products. |
Product Status | Include only the inventory for products that have Active or Inactive statuses, or include all products. |
SKU | Important! For shadow products, this filter is dependent on the Group Products by Parent SKU setting, below. If checked, the report filters for parent SKUs only; if unchecked, the report filters for all SKUs (parent and child).

Group Products by Parent SKU | Include all inventory for shadow products under the parent SKUs.
Important! When using this setting with the SKU filter above, the report will filter only for parent SKUs. |
Do Not Include Warehouses with Zero Inventory | Exclude warehouses that have no available and no reserved inventory. |
Do Not Include Inventory from Dropship Warehouses | Exclude inventory in warehouses set as DropShip in the Warehouses’ settings. |

You can export this report to a spreadsheet with additional data by clicking the Export to Excel icon. For spreadsheet details, see About the spreadsheet data.
The table below defines each of the columns:

Date* | The total physical, reserved, and available inventory and value on that date.

Warehouse | Warehouse name.
Click on a warehouse to open the Inventory by Warehouse Detail report. |
Physical | AvailableQty + ReservedQty + non-sellable inventory (not shown in the report).
Note: Corresponds to Physical Inventory (including non-sellable) on the product page. |
Reserved | ReservedQty.
If a warehouse is not sellable, 0 will be shown. Note: Corresponds to Reserved on the product page. |
Available | AvailableQty.
If a warehouse is not sellable, 0 will be shown. Note: Corresponds to Aggregate Qty on the product page. |
Value | Total value of the physical inventory across all warehouses. Value is based on the product’s cost multiplied by the physical quantity.
Note: Cost used in this report will be based on a choice in the Client Setting Order Profit & Loss Calculated Using on the date specified. Three costs are available in this Client Setting:

About the spreadsheet data
Exported spreadsheets include more data than the grid report. Spreadsheets also let you manipulate data, such as filter within a column, sort with advanced parameters, etc.
