Overview
Sears is a retailer offering a wide range of home merchandise, appliances, tools, and automotive parts and services. Learn how to automate order download, update order status, and refund Sears orders from your Sellercloud account.
Automate Order Download and Tracking Upload
You can enable automatic order download from Sears to your Sellercloud account.
- Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > select a company.
- In Toolbox, select Sears > General Settings > Edit.
- In the Controls panel, select Allow Order Download. The order download fee runs approximately every 60 minutes.
- Select Allow Fulfillment Upload. Tracking and Ship Date will automatically be sent to update the order status on Sears in the next feed which runs approximately every 60 minutes.
- Click Save.
Shipping Method Mapping
You can map the shipping methods sent for each order by Sears to a preferred shipping carrier and service.
- Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > select a company.
- In Toolbox, select Sears > Shipping Method Mapping > Edit.
- For each Sears Method Name, select a Shipping Method > click Save.
Refund a Sears Order
If the item is being returned, you should create an RMA. Refunds can be issued from the RMA.
- Go to Orders > Manage Orders > select an order.
- On the Order Detail page, select Actions > Issue Refund.
- Enter the amount to refund > add notes > click Refund. Defaults to order subtotal, but you can adjust as needed. Although Sears does not refund line items, partial refunds on the order are accepted.
- After the refund has been processed, Sears will refund the commission on the next settlement.
Cancel a Sears Order
Sears orders can only be canceled before it has been marked as Shipped Confirmed on Sears. If the order has already been Shipped Confirmed on Sears, you will need to issue a refund.
