Wayfair Account Settings Configuration

Overview

Wayfair is a large and growing marketplace dedicated to all products for the home. Categories range from furniture, linens, décor, and kitchenware to home office furniture, home improvement, and patio – anything and everything for your home and garden. This article explains the general Wayfair settings in detail.


Wayfair General Settings

Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Select a company > Toolbox > Channels > Wayfair Settings > General Settings.

Credentials Panel

Settings  Description
The image shows the Credentials panel. Wayfair Enabled — Enables Wayfair.
Wayfair FTP Server — From Wayfair.
Wayfair FTP User Name — From Wayfair.
Wayfair FTP Password — From Wayfair.
Confirm FTP Password — Confirms the FTP password.
Use Passive — Enables the passive mode of the FTP.
Order Handling Fee is Per Item — Handling expenses will be calculated per item.
Login Email — From Wayfair.
Login Password — From Wayfair.
Confirm Password — Confirms the login password.

General Panel

Settings Description
The image shows the general panel Customer ISA Qualifier — Usually ZZ.
Customer ISA ID — Usually the client’s telephone number.
Wayfair ISA Qualifier — 01 provided by Wayfair.
Wayfair ISA ID — Provided by Wayfair.
Wayfair Seller ID — Leave blank.
Supplier ID — Your Wayfair Supplier ID (Vendor ID / Warehouse ID reference).
Supplier Warehouse ID — Typically, the zip code of the warehouse.
Order Handling Fee — Handling expenses amount.
Order Commission (%) — The percentage of commission.
Damage Allowance — The percentage of damage discount.
Return Allowance — The percentage of sales deduction showing the sale price of goods returned by customers.
Advertising Fee — The percentage paid for the advertising expenditure.
Early Pay Discount — The percentage of a discount that buyers can receive in exchange for paying invoices early.
Safety Qty — This helps reduce the risk of overselling by subtracting a number of units from the available quantity.
Default Qty — When an item is set as replenishable, the value set here can be used as a default quantity for Wayfair
Max Qty — The Inventory Max Quantity can limit the inventory available for Wayfair so that it will never show the full quantity on Wayfair even when there really is more available.

Options Panel

Settings Description
Enable Inventory Upload — This allows Wayfair to upload inventory information from Sellercloud. Select when you are ready to have Sellercloud control your inventory on Wayfair. Note that products that are not Wayfair-enabled will be updated with a quantity of zero.
Send Backorder Information — Sends backorder information to Wayfair.
Enable Back Ordered Delivery Days —   If this is enabled and Days To Send are provided then Days To Send will be sent for backorder info when on order quantity is available.
Days To Send — This shows the number of days to send.
Enable Invoice Upload — Invoices Wayfair for every shipped order.
Enable Order Download — Orders download approximately every hour. Make sure that shipping method mapping is configured.
Enable Order Functional Acknowledgement —  Informs Wayfair that the order document has been received.
Enable Order Acknowledgement — Informs Wayfair that the order will be shipped.
Enable Order Fulfillment Upload — Sends tracking automatically to Wayfair.
Send Back Same Ship Speed as Received — This controls the ship speed information of the purchase order sent to Wayfair. If the setting is enabled, the same speed will be sent as received (i.e SECOND_DAY_AIR, etc)
Import Orders as UnPaid — Check this to import orders with the status Unpaid.
Create orders Under One User — Enable this to create the orders under one user.
Requires Third Party Shipping — This indicates that the product requires third-party shipping.

Actions

Actions Description
The image shows the Wayfair General Settings Actions button. Test FTP Credentials — Provided by Wayfair.
Download Full Inventory Update — Downloads full inventory update.
