Overview
When Wayfair LTL (Less Than Truckload) orders come into Sellercloud, they can be auto-registered for Wayfair pickup, and the bill of lading (BOL) and shipping labels will be downloaded and auto-saved to the order documents. You can then ship these orders from ShipBridge, print these documents, and mark the orders as shipped.
Follow this workflow’s three main procedures:
- Configuring the Sellercloud settings
- Registering orders in Sellercloud
- Shipping orders with ShipBridge
Configure the Sellercloud settings
- Go to Company > Toolbox > Wayfair > General Settings.
- Select the Enable Register Orders with Wayfair check box to see all LTL related settings as shown below.Important! If you do not see this check box, contact Sellercloud Support to select the setting EnableWayfairAPI on the back end, so that the box will appear on the General Settings; otherwise, you cannot proceed as described below. After the box appears, check it so you can see all LTL related settings that you can configure. Please note: The setting EnableWayfairAPI does not refer to Enable Wayfair API on the Wayfair General Settings page.
- Log into Wayfair’s extranet; create an application; and generate the Client ID and Client Secret.
- Back in the Wayfair General Settings, paste these values into the Client ID and Client Secret fields.
- Click Save Settings.
- To download the token, click Action Menu > Download Auth Token > Go. (The token should auto-refresh when necessary, but you can always select Refresh Auth Token if Needed from the Action Menu.)
- To register orders automatically, select Auto Register LTL Orders with Wayfair:
- If you enable this setting, you must also enable Use 24 Hours From Order Date so that Sellercloud knows when to automatically register the orders.
- If you do not want orders registered for pickup on specific dates, select Don’t Schedule Pickup On for all those days, or custom dates, that apply.
- Save Settings.
Register LTL orders in Sellercloud
If the settings in Step #7-7a above are enabled, orders will be automatically registered for pickup with Wayfair. However, you can also manually register orders:
- Single order – On the order’s details page, click Action Menu > Register Order With Wayfair > Go
- Multiple orders – On the Manage Orders page, select the orders > click Action Menu > click Register Order(s) with Wayfair > Go
In either case, you will be prompted to enter a pickup date before registering the order(s):

After an order is registered with Wayfair, the BOL and shipping labels will be downloaded and saved on the order. To view/download them, on the order details page:
- Click the Documents link in the Order Status panel; or,
- Click Action Menu > Manage Documents > Go
Here’s the Documents page:
Ship LTL orders from ShipBridge
You can ship Wayfair LTL orders from ShipBridge’s Scan and Ship feature or the Orders Grid.
- In ShipBridge, click Menu > Options > Shipping > Scroll to the bottom.
- In the Laser printer for order documents field— Choose the printer for the Wayfair LTL BOL.
- In the Thermal printer for order documents field— Choose the printer for the Wayfair LTL shipping labels.
- Ship the order from either:
- Scan and Ship tab:
- Scan and verify the order as you would any other order.
- Instead of standard shipping labels, the Wayfair order’s documents (BOL and shipping label) will print, and the order will be marked as shipped in Sellercloud.
- Orders Grid:
- Scan and Ship tab:
- Either way, ShipBridge will not change the carrier on the order; it will stay with whatever came in from Wayfair. You will not see the carrier in ShipBridge for these orders. The tracking number used will be the Wayfair Order ID (Sellercloud’s Channel Order #).
- When orders are marked as shipped in Sellercloud, tracking will be updated by default the next time Sellercloud communicates with Wayfair.
Custom stored procedures for Wayfair tracking compliance
Sellercloud offers a custom stored procedure that will automatically send tracking once you set these LTL orders as OK to Process in Sellercloud, only after the trucks picks them up.
- Contact Sellercloud Support to enable the stored procedure (billable option).
- Select the client setting Enable custom fulfillment for all channels.
- Create a saved search with the following filters.
The saved search could be named “Wayfair LTL shipped orders waiting to process.”
- Channel: Wayfair
- Company (optional if you have more than one Wayfair): Select the company
- Shipping Status: Fully Shipped
- Shipping Carrier: LTL
- OK to Process: Waiting
- Tracking Uploaded: Not Uploaded
- After the Wayfair trucks picks up the orders:
- Open the saved search to see those orders > click Action Menu > Set OK to Process > Go.
- If the channel is Wayfair and the shipping carrier is LTL, tracking will now be automatically sent to Wayfair.
Skustack’s Ship Verify
If you use Skustack’s Ship Verify workflow and want to scan Wayfair LTL orders as they leave the warehouse, you must scan the Wayfair Order ID barcode – the top barcode on the label – as the tracking number, since that is how it is saved in Sellercloud. Scanning the tracking number on the label will not match the shipment to any order in Sellercloud.
