Amazon Ship By Region Template


Overview

Amazon Ship By Region templates allow you to offer different shipping rates per state. For example, you can offer 2-day shipping in one state or region, but not in the rest of North America. in the past, shipping overrides were used to override account-level settings, but now the new Amazon shipping allows you to create up to twenty shipping templates. Create Amazon Ship By Region Template

  1. Create Ship by Region Shipping templates in Seller Central.
  2. In Sellercloud, go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Open a company.
  3. From the Toolbox, open Channels > Amazon Settings > General Settings and check the Enable Ship By Region templates box.
    Note: Gift Wrap options will not be sent to Amazon when the option is enabled. The service will update changes to the shipping templates to Seller Central.
  4. In Sellercloud, go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Open a company.
  5. Open Toolbox > Channels > Amazon Settings > Ship by Region Templates.
  6. Type in the template titles in the New Template Name field and press Add New Template to add the templates to Sellercloud.
  7. The template name in Sellercloud needs to identically match the corresponding template in Seller Central.

Assign Ship By Region Template

You can assign Ship by Region templates to products either individually per product on in bulk via a file upload.

The products must be (re)posted to Amazon for the shipping template to be updated on the product in Seller Central.

Individually

  1. Go to Catalog > Manage Catalog > Open a product > Toolbox > Channels > Amazon Properties.
  2. Press Edit.
  3. In the Shipping panel, check the Enable Shipping Override box and select a Shipping Template. Only the Ship By Region templates will be available for selection.
    Note: If you check the Enable Shipping Override checkbox, the selected Amazon Shipping Template is the only template taken into account regardless of all other shipping rules and templates applied.

    You can select a default Ship by Region template from Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Open a company > Toolbox > Channels > Amazon Settings > Product Defaults.

Via a File Upload

  1. Go to Catalog > Tools > Import Product Info > Bulk Product Update.
  2. Generate a template with the column headers AmazonEnableShippingOverride and AmazonShippingTemplate.
  3. Populate the template, save it, and upload it back to Sellercloud.The image shows the Bulk Update steps.

  1. Opt in to the New Amazon Shipping Settings.
  2. Create ship by region shipping templates in Seller Central.
  3. In SellerCloud, navigate to Amazon General settings and enable setting Enable Ship By Region templates. A new item will appear in the Amazon Settings submenu – Ship by Region Templates
  4. Add the templates by entering the names of the templates.
  5. The template name in Sellercloud needs to identically match the corresponding template in Seller Central.
  6. Now assign the templates to products.
    1. Amazon Properties page > Select the template from the Shipping Template drop down. Only the Ship By Region templates will be available for selection.
    2. Or you can select a default template in the Amazon Settings > Product Defaults.
    3. Bulk update with file upload use column header AmazonShippingTemplate.
  7. The products must be (re)posted to Amazon for the shipping template to be updated on the product in Seller Central.
 Gift Wrap options will not be sent to Amazon when Ship By Region Templates is enabled. The service will update changes to the shipping templates to Seller Central.
