Custom Columns Overview

Overview

Custom Columns can be created and stored on your Products, Orders, and POs. Using them allows you to store additional information that is unavailable under the default columns. Custom Columns can be used in Mapping Profiles and when filtering respective searches.

Request a Custom Column

There are three types of custom columns available in Sellercloud:

  • Product Custom Columns
  • Order Custom Columns
  • Purchase Order Custom Columns

Custom columns can be added to your system by Sellercloud Support. They can be requested via tickets from the Support Portal. Contact us with your column list and column format types.

When making the request, specify the data types for each column:

  • String — The most common since it can handle any sort of input.
  • Integer — Accepts only whole numbers.
  • Decimal — Accepts only decimal values.
  • DateTime — Provides a calendar for date selection.
  • Boolean — Adds a checkbox to mark the value as True/False.
  • nText — Same as string, but offers a larger character limit.
  • Hyperlink — A URL pointing to a page.
