Add Product Promotions

Newegg.com allows you to receive subsidies and create product volume discounts, similar to channels such as eBay.

A subsidy provides you with credit for selling specific items at reduced prices. For instance, if Newegg wants to feature a particular cell phone on their platform, they may negotiate with the merchant to offer the phone at $50 off the phone’s actual price. In this case, Newegg would offer the phone at a reduced price and would then credit $50 for each sale, covering the difference.

Subsidies are only available for Newegg.com, not for Newegg.ca or Neweggbusiness.com. Once you have a subsidy created there, you should also add it to Sellercloud to maintain accurate Profit & Loss records.
The Client Setting Enable NewEgg.com Subsidy must be enabled for this workflow.
The subsidies you configure in Sellercloud will not be sent and added to Newegg.com with any of the product updates or listing actions. They are intended for internal processing only.

In contrast, a volume discount is a decrease in the price of a product based on the ordered quantity. This type of discount offers an incentive for customers to purchase larger quantities. This is how volume discounts appear on the Newegg marketplace:

Keep these details in mind:

  • It can take some time for Newegg to process the updates.
  • The volume discount will not be available if an ongoing promotion’s price is less than the Volume Discount 1 price.
  • Volume discounts are only available when shipping to the United States.

You can configure Newegg.com promotions for your SKUs individually or in bulk:

Individually

  1. Go to the Product Details page.
  2. Click Toolbox and select Newegg.com Properties.
