Order Subtypes

Overview

Order Subtypes allow you to identify orders based on their shipping speed, channel-specific order types, and internal order types. For example, you could filter by subtype when creating a Saved Search to identify which orders are Prime, have priority shipping, and more.

The client setting Enable Order Sub Types must be enabled for this workflow. To enable it, go to Settings > Client Settings > General Client Settings > Channels > Advanced.

You can see the subtype in two places on the Order Details Page – at the top of the page, next to the order number, and in the General panel’s Order Sub Type field.

To filter orders by subtype:

  1. Go to Orders > Manage Orders
  2. Click Add Filter, search for Order Sub Type, and click to add it.
