Wayfair LTL Orders

Overview

Less-than-truckload, also known as less-than-load (LTL), is a shipping service for relatively small loads or quantities of freight. Wayfair LTL Orders are orders that don’t require a full truck upon shipment.

When Wayfair LTL orders come into Sellercloud, they can be auto-registered for Wayfair pickup, and the bill of lading (BOL) and shipping labels will be downloaded and auto-saved to the order documents. You can then ship these orders from Shipbridge, print these documents, and mark the orders as shipped in Sellercloud.

To perform this process, you will need to configure your Company settings, register these orders in Sellercloud and ship them with Shipbridge.

    2. Orders Grid:
      1. Select the order(s) > Right-click > Choose either:
        1. Print Channel-Specific Documents – Print documents without marking order(s) as shipped; or
        2. Print & Ship Using Channel-Specific Documents – Print documents and mark order(s) as shipped
  5. Either way, ShipBridge will not change the carrier on the order; it will stay with whatever came in from Wayfair. You will not see the carrier in ShipBridge for these orders. The tracking number used will be the Wayfair Order ID (Sellercloud’s Channel Order #).
  6. When orders are marked as shipped in Sellercloud, tracking will be updated by default the next time Sellercloud communicates with Wayfair.
Wayfair requires that tracking only be sent after the truck picks up these orders, but before they arrive at their facility. Sellercloud makes it easy to comply with this requirement by using a custom tracking process, described below, that automatically sends tracking only after you flag them as ready to process.

Custom Stored Procedures for Wayfair Tracking Compliance

Sellercloud offers a custom stored procedure that will automatically send tracking, once you set these LTL orders as OK to Process in Sellercloud, only after the trucks pick them up.

Client setting Enable custom fulfillment for all channels must be enabled for this workflow. To enable the setting, navigate to Settings > Client Settings > General Client Settings.
  1. Contact Sellercloud Support to enable the custom stored procedure. Any type of customisation is billable, including this one.
  2. Create a Saved Search with the following filters
    1. Channel: Wayfair
    2. Company (optional if you have more than one Wayfair): Select the company
    3. Shipping Status: Fully Shipped
    4. Shipping Carrier: LTL
    5. OK to Process: Waiting
    6. Tracking Uploaded: Not Uploaded
  3. After the Wayfair trucks pick up the orders:
    1. Open the Saved Search to see those Orders > click Action Menu > Set OK to Process.
    2. If the channel is Wayfair and the shipping carrier is LTL, tracking will now be automatically sent to Wayfair.

Skustack’s Ship Verify

If you use Skustack’s Ship Verify workflow and want to scan Wayfair LTL orders as they leave the warehouse, you must scan the Wayfair Order ID barcode – the top barcode on the label, as the tracking number, since that is how it is saved in Sellercloud.

Scanning the tracking number on the label will not match the shipment to any order in Sellercloud.
