Shopify Orders

Overview

In Sellercloud, you can update order information for Shopify from a single platform. Here, you can cancel, refund, customize shipping methods, and monitor the status of your Shopify orders. After an order is shipped, shipping confirmation (tracking number and ship date) will be automatically updated on Shopify.

Notify Customers For Tracking

Shopify orders that have updated tracking can send automated emails to customers:

  1. Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Open a company.
  2. Go to Toolbox > Website > Sellercloud Integrated Website > Shopify General.
  3. Click Edit > Enable Notify Customer For Tracking.
  4. Click Save.

Enable Fraud Check

To retrieve orders’ risk analysis from Shopify:

  1. Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Open a company.
  2. Go to Toolbox > Website > Sellercloud Integrated Website > Shopify General.
  3. Click Edit > Enable Fraud Check & Put Orders On Hold.
  4. Save.
Orders flagged by Shopify as “Cancel” or “Investigate” will be put on hold. You may want to create a saved search for these orders to display on your dashboard, which allows for easier order monitoring and management.

Shipping Method Mapping

Sellercloud’s shipping method mapping tool allows you to easily customize shipping for each channel integrated with their account. When orders are downloaded into Sellercloud, the shipping method chosen by the customer will import as well. Learn more about shipping method mapping here.

  1. Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Open a company.
  2. Go to Toolbox > Website > Sellercloud Integrated Website > Shopify Shipping Method Mapping.
  3. Click Edit > Click the plus icon to Add New Shipping Method Mapping.
  4. In the Shopify Shipping Method field, enter the Service Name from your chosen shipping template for that channel.
  5. Choose the carrier and method from the Local Shipping Carrier and Local Shipping Method fields.
  6. Check the Rush Service setting if orders using this shipping method will be rushed.
  7. Click Add.

Cancel a Shopify Order or Issue Refund

You can only cancel an order before it is marked Ship Confirmed. If it is already Ship Confirmed, you must issue a refund. If the item is being returned, you should create an RMA instead, where a refund can also be issued. Read more about that here.

Cancel or Refund a Shopify Order

Follow the steps below to Cancel an order or issue a Refund:

  1. Go to Orders > Manage Orders > Open a completed order > Actions menu > Cancel/Issue Refund.
  2. Fill in the fields Shipping Total, Other Refund, and Cancel Reason.
  3. Click Shopify Cancel.

Cancel a Shopify Order Internally

If the order cancellation was already processed on Shopify, follow the steps below to cancel an order internally:

Go to Orders > Manage Orders > Open an order > Actions menu > Set Cancelled Internally.

Please note that this action will only cancel the order on Sellercloud and not on Shopify.
