Overview
The Wayfair Account Integration enables you to manage your Wayfair listings’ available inventory directly from the Sellercloud interface. You can update listings on Wayfair automatically or manually.
To be able to that, you must first create them on Wayfair. Once done, simply follow the steps to Enable Products for Wayfair, and you’ll be ready to start sending Inventory Updates. It’s also essential that you review the Additional Configuration details related to different aspects of listings management.
Enable Products for Wayfair
Products must meet certain minimum configuration requirements for you to update them on Wayfair. To prepare products, you must ensure they are enabled for Wayfair and have a valid identifier on the Wayfair Product Properties page.
Individually
To enable a single product for Wayfair:
- Go to the Product Details Page.
- Click Toolbox and select Wayfair > Wayfair Properties.
- Click Edit.
- Check Wayfair Enabled.
- Enter the Merchant SKU – This corresponds to the Wayfair Supplier Part Number on your Wayfair listings. Sellercloud uses it to import orders, send inventory updates, and more.
- Optionally, you can also enter the Wayfair Product ID – This corresponds to the Wayfair SKU on your listing, which is the product’s Wayfair-specific SKU. If Sellercloud can’t match a product by its Merchant SKU, it will use this field.
- Click Save.
In Bulk
You can also enable multiple products for Wayfair at once with a Bulk Product Update. Use the following column headers in your template:
- WayfairEnabled – Set to True to enable Sellercloud to send automatic inventory updates for the product(s) to Wayfair.
- WayfairMerchantSKU – This field corresponds to the Wayfair Supplier Part Number on your Wayfair listings. Sellercloud first checks for matching items on Wayfair using this field when importing orders, sending inventory updates, and more.
- WayfairProductID – Use this field to enter the product’s Wayfair-specific SKU on your listing. If Sellercloud can’t match a product by the Merchant SKU, it will use this field.

Additional Configuration
The following sections describe certain aspects of Wayfair’s listing management that require additional configuration.
Backorders
To accept Backorders, also known as Out Of Stock Purchases (OOSP), go to the Wayfair General Settings page and enable Send Backorder Information. When enabled, Sellercloud will send inventory for out-of-stock products based on the PO with the nearest Expected Delivery date for the same item following these rules:
- If the OnOrder quantity of the product is > 0, and the expected delivery date is set to a date in the future, Sellercloud will send the quantity on order and set the specified delivery date automatically.
- If there is an OnOrder quantity but no expected delivery date set, Sellercloud will send the quantity on order, and the expected delivery date will be set to one month in the future.
- If there is no OnOrder quantity and no expected delivery date, Sellercloud will send 0 quantity.
You also have the flexibility to change how this functionality works by selecting Enable Back Ordered Delivery Days and entering a specific number of Days to Send. With this configuration, Sellercloud will send availability dates as follows:
- If Days To Send > 0, Sellercloud will send the OnOrder quantity and calculate the restock date by adding the Days To Send to the current date and time instead of using the Expected Delivery date on the PO.
- If Days To Send = 0, Sellercloud will not send backorder information.
Replenishable Products
For products marked as Replenishable, check the Enable Default Qty setting. Otherwise, the inventory feed will only send a quantity of 1. The following options will become available once this setting is enabled:
- Use Default – Selected to use the Default Qty from the Wayfair General Settings page.
- Default Qty – Enter the quantity to send as inventory updates regardless of the actual inventory.
Discontinue Products
If an item is out of stock, customers can still order it unless it is Discontinued. For a product to be discontinued on Wayfair, it must be marked as Discontinued in Sellercloud and have 0 quantity on the product’s Wayfair Properties page. To reactivate the item, simply uncheck Discontinued and Save.
Variation Products
Wayfair processes Variation Products listed on its platform differently from other channels. Since all variation children on Wayfair have the same Wayfair ID, it is important to set them up properly in Sellercloud.
Make sure the Wayfair Merchant SKU of each variation child matches the corresponding Sellercloud SKU. This way, when an order comes in from Wayfair, Sellercloud can identify which variation needs to be shipped out.
