Amazon Account Settings Configuration


Overview

Integrating Amazon with your Sellercloud account allows you to seamlessly manage your listings, monitor the status of your orders, configure various product properties, and track financial performance. By automating key processes and customizing your workflow, you can not only save valuable time but also enhance overall efficiency.

Amazon General Settings

To configure your Amazon General Settings, navigate to:

  1. Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Select your Company.
  2. Toolbox > Amazon General Settings.

Refer to the tables below for a detailed definition of each of the Amazon settings.

Credentials Panel

Option Description
Amazon Enabled By enabling Amazon for the selected company, you allow SellerCloud to communicate automatically with Amazon.
This is Amazon Unified Account Parent Company Marks the company as an Amazon Unified Account Parent Company.
Unified Account Parent Company
From the Unified Account Parent Company dropdown field of each child company, choose the parent company from the list. For example, if you are configuring your Canadian Amazon account, you need to select the related US Company.

This is only applicable to unified accounts. It is possible to have accounts for different countries without them being unified.
Merchant ID Enter the Seller ID from Amazon here. Amazon provides a unique ID once you create the account.
Enter the Marketplace ID for your selected marketplace. Find the appropriate Marketplace ID here.

Selling Partner API Refresh Token Selling Partner API Refresh Token.
The date when the token was received.
The date when the token expires.
Enables the option to get limited info from Amazon. Learn more about that here.
Amazon Payments Test Mode.
Enables the option for regional shipping templates. Check this article for additional information on shipping templates.

Inventory Panel

Option Description
Product Business Discount Enables the Business Discount options. Refer to Amazon Business Pricing for more information.
Safety Qty A buffer between the amount of inventory you have and the amount Sellercloud is sending to the channel to prevent overselling of items in high demand. This will be the Safety Quantity used for your products where Use Default is checked on their Amazon Properties page. For example, if there are 5 units available and the Safety Quantity is 1, only 4 will be sent to Amazon.
Safety Qty (Replenishable) If you want to sell a specific item regardless of the available quantity, mark it as Replenishable. When set to Replenishable, the normal Safety Qty is ignored.
Default Qty Allows you to set a default quantity for the Amazon listings when they are set to Replenishable. Sellercloud will send the Default quantity regardless of the actual inventory levels of Replenishable products.
Enable Inventory Max. Qty Enables a maximum quantity to be displayed regardless of the total available quantity.

If you have 1000 units available and set a max QTY of 10, only 10 will be sent to Amazon. If the available units drop below the set max QTY of 10, all available units will be sent.
Default Fulfillment Latency Also called Lead time to ship.

Allows you to set the default number of business days between the moment an order is placed on Amazon and when it is shipped. Set a number between 0 and 30

Default Fulfillment Latency (Replenishable) Allows you to set the default number of business days between the moment you receive a replenishable order and when you ship it.
Global Fulfillment Latency Allows you to temporarily override a lead time to ship set at a product level.
Enable Order Download Date Limit Enables the Date Limit field.
Date Limit Sets a date before which existing shipped orders in Amazon will not be downloaded into Sellercloud.

Controls Panel

These settings are linked to automatic updates.

Option Description
Allow Inventory Update Enables regular inventory updates. Should be enabled only when you are certain your inventory is accurate, and your products have been enabled for Amazon.
If enabled, tracking information for shipped orders is uploaded to Amazon periodically. The upload feed typically occurs every hour.
Allows Sellercloud to send pricing updates to Amazon.
Allows Sellercloud to send shipping price updates to Amazon.
Enables the FBA workflow.
If enabled, this setting will allow Sellercloud to display the current FBA warehouse inventory levels.
Refer to FBA Inventory for more information on the AFN column. If this setting is Disabled, and if an afn-listing-exists is False for a particular SKU, we will not import FBA inventory for that SKU. If the setting is Enabled, we will import the inventory regardless of the afn-listing-exists value.

Enables Amazon Transparency.
Enables Amazon Remote Fulfillment for this company. Learn more about that here.

This setting should be enabled by FBA sellers who are enrolled in Remote Fulfillment.
Amazon’s Remote Fulfillment program allows Canada and Mexico orders to be fulfilled with inventory available in the US.
Amazon does not allow the same SKU to have FBA and FBM offers available for Remote Fulfillment. When this setting is enabled, Sellercloud will include a Switch-to-FBM column in the Inventory feeds. This is needed in case any of your FBM products are listed as FBA on Amazon. All FBA products on Sellercloud will not be included in the inventory feed and will remain as FBA.
Allow Order Download
Enables order download. Enable it when you are ready to manage and fulfill your Amazon orders through Sellercloud.
If enabled, Sellercloud will automatically create products that don’t exist in Sellercloud based on the information from the Active Listing Report.
If enabled, Sellercloud will automatically update products with information based on the Active Listing Report.
Do Not Enable For Amazon
By default, Sellercloud will Enable for Amazon all products included in the Active listings report. Enable this setting if you prefer to keep them disabled.
Update SitePrice Based On Amazon Price Automatically updates the price in Sellercloud based on the price on Amazon.

Amazon General Settings

To open Amazon General Settings, go to Settings > Company Settings > Open your company > Toolbox > Amazon General Settings.

The tables below list and define the options on the page.

Credentials Panel

Option Description
Amazon Enabled By enabling Amazon for the selected company, you allow SellerCloud to communicate automatically with Amazon.
This is Amazon Unified Account Parent Company Marks the company as an Amazon Unified Account Parent Company.
