Amazon Properties Overview


Overview

This article focuses on the different settings and actions available on the Amazon Properties page and explains them in detail.


Product Fields Explained

To open the Amazon Properties page, go to Catalog > Manage Catalog > Open a product > Toolbox > Amazon Properties. The following options are present on it:The image shows the Amazon Properties page.

General Panel

Options Description
Enabled Enables the product on Amazon.
Merchant SKU Alternate SKU used per-channel for communicating a product to that corresponding channel.
FBA SKU An identifier used by Amazon fulfillment centers to identify each unique product. This is the identifier that is printed on product-level labels and this is how Amazon identifies every unit you ship. Click here for more information.
ASIN Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (ASINs) are unique blocks of 10 characters used to identify listings.
Fulfilled By Defines who ships the product: Merchant or Amazon through FBA. Click here for more information.
Ready to Post
Indicates the product status for posting. If the product is not ready for posting, hover over the i icon to see the missing information for the product.
Release Date Enabling this option, allows you to select a start selling date on Amazon. The listing will display with a pre-order option. This option is used when posting the product for the first time.

Inventory Panel

Options Description
FBA Warehouse Qty The quantity in the FBA warehouse.
Fixed Qty Quantity set on Amazon regardless of availability. Click here for more information.

Pricing Panel

Options Description
Map Price Minimum advertised pricing – the lowest price allowed by distributors.
Enforce Checking this box will set the sales price on all channels to the MAP. The MAP will be reflected in the price feed as the MAP and as the Price.
Amazon Price Allows you to set a different price specific for Amazon. You can also check the Default box to use the default Site Price. Read about Amazon Business Pricing here.
Special Price Enter the price that Amazon will show as the discounted price for a promotion during the selected time period.

You must enter start and end dates to save this field value.

Referral Fee Referral fees charged by Amazon for selling this item. We take the value from Amazon Reports.
Total Fee (Estimated) Estimated FBA fees we receive from Amazon for the listing. This filed is only visible if the Product is Fulfilled by Amazon.
Buy Box Price Displays the Buy Box price.
Retail Price The retail price of the item.
Commission Percentage of commission deducted by Amazon.
Repricing

Enable Min/Max Selling Price for Amazon

Opens a drop-down menu with repricing options.


Allows you to set high and low (StopLoss Price) prices.


Allows you to set min and max selling prices for Amazon.

Shipping Panel

Options Description
Lead Time to Ship The default number of business days it takes to ship an order after it is placed. The maximum is 30 days. Even if you enter more, Sellercloud will still send 30. Click here for more information.
Enable Shipping Override When enabled, the selected Amazon Shipping Template becomes more important than all other shipping rules and templates applied.
Shipping Template Allows you to select an Amazon Shipping Template.

FBA Panel

Options Description
Amazon Label Format Labels for FBA items. You can choose between Individual units, case labels, and none.
Amazon Label Units Specifies the number of the label units.
FBA Instock Date Timestamp of the last date when inventory of the selected item was available in FBA.
Package Size Package size as it relates to Amazon’s Product Size Tiers. Read more here.
Internal FBA Prep Note
Relates to FBA Inbound Shipments. You can enter any Prep guidelines, which will only be used internally. This field is not sent to Amazon.

FBA Inventory Planning Panel

This panel used to show information from the Amazon Inventory Health report. At this time, all the information provided here comes from Amazon’s Inventory Planning report. You can see things such as the Inventory Age, Sales Rank, Storage Type, and more.

Listing Details Panel

Options Description
Product Title Multiple titles can exist for a given product, but only one top title can be used as the default title for fixed-priced listings.
Amazon Title Allows you to add a product description of up to 255 characters.
Item Type Allows you to specify an item type.
Top Category Allows you to select a top category from the drop-down menu.
Sub Category Allows you to select a sub category from the drop-down menu.
Configure Attributes Opens a new window where you can configure additional fields for the main and sub categories.
Search Term 1 Search terms are keywords used by search engine for lexical matching between an ASIN and a query. Search terms mean terms entered by sellers into “generic_keywords” or “search terms” fields when sellers list or update an ASIN, which are indexed in search engine for matching.
Bullet Point 1 Bullet points are used to draw attention to important information within a document so that a reader can identify the key issues and facts quickly.
Brand Allows you to select a brand from the drop-down menu.
Tax Code Check the available options in this article.
Condition Allows you to set a condition from the drop-down menu and add a description to it.
Is Hazmat Hazmat stands for hazardous materials. Check this box if the item is hazardous.
Pesticide Properties You can configure different pesticide-related settings from here.
UPC For Channel Available if Enable UPC For Channel Client setting is enabled in your account. This field allows you to input a UPC for Amazon that is different than the general product UPC.

Listing Details Extended Panel

Options Description
Package Qty The number of the same product contained within one package. For example, if you are selling a case of 5 packages of pens, the Package Quantity would be 5.
No. of Items The number of distinct items included in the product you are offering for sale as one product. For example, if you are selling a case of 5 packages of pens, and each package contains 12 pens, the Number of Items would be 60.
Max Order Qty Indicates the maximum number of these same items that can be shipped together in the same package.
Allow Gift Wrap Allows a customer to select gift wrap for this specific product. The gift wrap types available are set on a company level from Seller Central.
Allow Gift Message Allows the customer to select a gift message for this particular product.

Custom Columns Panel

Options Description.
Category Item category.

Channel Images Panel

Option Description
Images Recommended size 501 x 501 pixels. Maximum 1900 x 1900 pixels. Square aspect ratio.

The Amazon Properties page is used to manage all of the Amazon-related attributes of a product.

FIELD DESCRIPTION
Amazon Enabled Products that are not enabled will be considered, for Amazon, to have a qty of zero. Read how to enable products for Amazon in bulk here.
Merchant SKU Defaults to product ID but can be edited to another ID in case of SKU mismatch.
FBA SKU (FNSKU) An identifier used by Amazon fulfillment centers to identify each unique product. This is the identifier that is printed on product-level labels and this is how Amazon identifies every unit you ship. Click here for more information.

Label Formats Labels for FBA items. Individual unit and case labels.
Amazon Safety Quantity Reserves from available quantity. Click here for more information.
Amazon Available Quantity The Quantity currently available for Amazon. Usually aggregate quantity, but may depend on Max Qty, Fixed quantity, Safety Qty, or Inventory Percent Qty.
Enable Max Inventory Set maximum quantity to be allowed on Amazon. Click here for more information.
Replenishable  Enabling will display value that is set in the Amazon Fixed Quantity.
Amazon Fixed Quantity Quantity set on Amazon regardless of availability. Click here for more information.

Enable Release Date Enabling this option will allow you to select a start selling date on Amazon. The listing will display with a pre-order option. This option is used when posting the product for the first time. See the Restock Date option below for existing listings.

Restock Date/Enable Restock Date  Visible when client setting Enable Re-Stock Date for Products is enabled. Will allow for backorders for items that are out of stock. The product must have zero quantity.
Allow Gift Wrap Allows a customer to select gift wrap for this specific product. The gift wrap types available are set on a company level from Seller Central.
Allow Gift Message Allows the customer to select a gift message for this particular product.
Amazon Condition and Note The condition required for listing on Amazon. (note not required) Read about mapping the condition note to a condition here.
Amazon Title Title of the product as it appears on Amazon.
Map Price Minimum advertised pricing – the lowest price allowed by distributors.
Enforce Checking this box will set the sales price on all channels to the MAP. The MAP will be reflected in the price feed as the MAP and as the Price.
Enable Price Update Will allow a price update through the Action Menu.
Amazon Price Price of the product as listed on Amazon. Read about Amazon Business Pricing here.
Amazon Special Price Enter the price that Amazon will show as the discounted price for a promotion during the selected time period.

You must enter start and end dates to save this field value.

Special Price Start Date Select the date to start the discounted price.
Special Price To Date Select the date to stop the discounted price.
Pricing Rule When using third-party repricing, you may store the rule name in this field.
Stop Loss Pricing When using third-party repricing feeds, the quantity set here will be the lowest the price can fall.
Commission %  Percentage of commission deducted by Amazon.
Include in CM Feed  Checking this box will include this product in the ChannelMax repricing.

Fulfillment Center  When stored at FBA.
Package Size  Package size as it relates to Amazon’s Product Size Tiers. Read more here.
