Overview

The Google Shopping Product Properties page in Sellercloud enables you to seamlessly manage the data of your Google Shopping listings. After Integrating Google Shopping Into Sellercloud, you can configure various product properties, view inventory, define prices, and Update Your Listings.

Google Shopping Product Properties

To access and update a product’s Google Shopping properties:

  1. Go to the Product Details Page.
  2. Click Toolbox and select Google Shopping.
  3. See the tables in the following sections for descriptions of the properties on the page.

    An asterisk (*) means that the field is required for the product to be ready to post.
  4. Update the properties and click Save.

General

Product Field Bulk Update Description
Enabled* GoogleExpressEnabled Select to start automatically updating the available inventory and pricing on Google Shopping. With this setting disabled, the product is still included in updates but with zero quantity.
Listing ID GoogleExpressActiveListingID When you click Actions and select Post Product to Google Shopping to create the listing, Sellercloud pulls the unique listing ID into the Active Listing ID field.
Merchant SKU GoogleExpressMerchantSKU This SKU is sent to Google for orders, inventory updates, etc. If it’s blank, the product ID is used instead.
Ready To Post N/A Shows if the product is ready to be posted. Products that are not ready for listing will display a red No message – hover over it to reveal the missing attributes. Products that are ready to post will have a green Yes message.
Listing Expiration Date N/A When the product is listed on Google Shopping, this date is set to 30 days in the future.
Enable Auto Relist Product GoogleExpressAutoRelistProductEnabled If you check this box, the product will be automatically relisted if the Listing Expiration Date is less than the current time stamp. This setting is enabled by default.
UPC For Channel UPCFor_GoogleExpress The product’s UPC on Google Shopping.

Inventory

Product Field Bulk Update Description
Channel Qty N/A The quantity that will be sent to Google Shopping. This is based on the overall Available Quantity, but it will also consider any of the following when available: Safety Quantity, Max Quantity, Default Quantity for Replenishable products, and Channel Warehouse or Warehouse Mapping rules.
Avail Qty N/A The total available product quantity.
Safety Qty GoogleExpressSafetyQty and GoogleExpressSafetyQtyUseDefault The product’s Safety Quantity to be subtracted from the Available Qty in order to prevent overselling. This amount won’t be included in the inventory feed. If you check the Default box, you will pull the default Safety Qty set on your company’s Google Shopping General Settings.
Enable Default Qty GoogleExpressEnableDefaultQty, GoogleExpressDefaultQty, and GoogleExpressDefaultQtyUseDefault Use this option for Replenishable Products to set a default number of items that will always be available on Google Shopping. Check Use Default to have it come from the Default Qty set up on your company’s Google Shopping General Settings.
Inventory Last Sent N/A The most recent date when the product’s inventory has been updated on Google Shopping.
Replenishable Replenishable Enable for Replenishable Products that are consistently restocked or tend to restock quickly. It keeps your listings active and prevents you from missing out on potential sales, especially for hot-selling products.

Pricing

Price GoogleExpressPrice and GoogleExpressPriceUseDefault The product’s price on Google Shopping. If you check the Default box, the default Site/Retail Price set on the Product Details Page will apply.
Price for Google Shopping N/A The product’s price from your website listing.

Listing Details

Product Field Bulk Update Description
Title GoogleExpressTitle The title of the product on Google Shopping.
Description* GoogleExpressDescription The description of the product on Google Shopping.
Link GoogleExpressLink The public URL linking to the product page on your website. Not required if:

Taxonomy GoogleExpressTaxonomyPath Click Select Taxonomy to choose from a list of pre-defined categories.
Brand BrandID The product’s brand.
Color GoogleExpressColor The product’s color.
MPN* ManufacturerSKU The Manufacturer Part Number. Corresponds to the Manufacturer SKU on the Product Details Page.
Age Group GoogleExpressAgeGroup The age group the product is intended for.
Gender GoogleExpressGender The gender the item is intended for.
Product Type GoogleExpressProductType You can include your own product categorization system in your product data. For example, you can use product type to organize bidding and reporting in your Google Ads Shopping campaign.
Condition GoogleExpressCondition Select the item’s condition from the dropdown.
Size System GoogleExpressSizeSystem Your product’s sizing system.
Size Type GoogleExpressSizeType Your product’s size type, describing its cut.

Shipping

Destinations

Product Field Bulk Update Description
Shopping Ads GoogleExpressIncludedDestination and GoogleExpressExcludedDestination Allow your products to show in Shopping ads.
Buy On Google Listings GoogleExpressIncludedDestination and GoogleExpressExcludedDestination Allow your products to show in Buy on Google listings.
Display Ads GoogleExpressIncludedDestination and GoogleExpressExcludedDestination Allow your products to appear in dynamic remarketing ads. These ads contain specific product information tailored to a customer’s previous site activity.
Local Inventory Ads GoogleExpressIncludedDestination and GoogleExpressExcludedDestination Allow your products to show in ads to shoppers near your store.
Free Listings GoogleExpressIncludedDestination and GoogleExpressExcludedDestination Allow your products to appear in free listings on Google.
Free Local Listings GoogleExpressIncludedDestination and GoogleExpressExcludedDestination Allow your local products to appear in free local product listings on Google.
You can bulk-update the Destinations by adding a comma-separated list into the GoogleExpressIncludedDestination column to enable destinations and GoogleExpressExcludedDestination to disable them.

Google Shopping Product Actions

Certain product actions are available for Google Shopping-enabled products. You can execute actions either individually or in bulk.

Individual Actions

These actions can be executed for an individual product:

  1. Go to the Product Details Page.
  2. Click Actions and select:

    • Post Product to Google Shopping – List the product on Google Shopping. Make sure the General panel’s Enabled box is checked and that the product is Ready To Post. Sellercloud pulls a unique listing ID into the Listing ID field.
    • Revise Price & Inventory to Google Shopping – Update the product’s available quantity and the price on Google Shopping.
      When you perform a Post or Revise action, Sellercloud sends the update immediately, but the information may not reflect on Google destinations for up to two hours.
    • Restrict/Unrestrict For Google ShoppingRestrict the product to exclude it from posting, updating, and inventory and pricing feeds or unrestrict it to send updates.
    • Update Images to Google Shopping – Update the Product Images on Google Shopping.

Bulk Actions

You can execute these actions for one or more products:

  1. Go to Catalog > Manage Catalog.
  2. Find products and select them.
  3. Click the blue Actions icon in the bottom right corner, and select:

    • Enable/Disable For Channel – Enable or disable the selected products for Google Shopping.
    • Launch on Channel – Post listings for the selected products on Google Shopping. Make sure that the products are Enabled and Ready To Post.
    • Update Inventory on Channel – Update the selected products’ available inventory on Google Shopping based on the inventory available in Sellercloud.
    • Update Prices on Channel – Update the selected products’ prices on Google Shopping based on the prices set in Sellercloud.
    • Restrict/Unrestrict For ChannelRestrict the selected products to exclude them from posting, updating, and both inventory and pricing feeds or unrestrict it to send updates.
    • Updates Images on Channel – Update Product Images on Google Shopping based on the images set in Sellercloud.
    • Export Channel Missing Information – Export a spreadsheet with the missing product information required to post the selected products to Google Shopping.

Google Shopping Product Properties

You can access the Google Shopping properties by navigating to Inventory > Open a product > Toolbox > Google Shopping.

General

Product Field Bulk Update Description
Enabled* GoogleExpressEnabled Select to start automatically updating the available inventory and pricing on Google Shopping. With this setting disabled, the product is still included in updates but with zero quantity.

You can bulk-update the Destinations by adding a comma-separated list into the GoogleExpressIncludedDestination column to enable destinations and GoogleExpressExcludedDestination to disable them.

Manage Google Shopping Product Fields

You can update your Google Shopping product information in Sellercloud individually or in bulk.

Individually

To update a single product’s Google Shopping details in Sellercloud:

  1. Go to the Product Details page.
  2. Click Toolbox and select Google Shopping.
  3. Update the product and click Save.

In Bulk

To bulk update products’ Google Shopping details in Sellercloud:

  1. Open the Export Product Information article and follow the instructions in the Custom Export section.
  2. On the next page for template creation, search for ‘GoogleExpress’ to find the Google Shopping fields. If you can’t find a column, it may be disabled for Bulk Updates and Custom Exports – ask Sellercloud Support to enable it for you. The required columns are:
    1. GoogleExpressEnabled
    2. GoogleExpressPrice and GoogleExpressPriceUseDefault
    3. GoogleExpressTitle
    4. GoogleExpressDescription
    5. GoogleExpressLink
    6. GoogleExpressSafetyQty and GoogleExpressSafetyQtyUseDefault
    7. GoogleExpressMinHandlingTime and GoogleExpressMinHandlingTimeUseDefault
    8. GoogleExpressMaxHandlingTime and GoogleExpressMaxHandlingTimeUseDefault
  3. Optionally, you can add other columns.
  4. Export the custom template and fill it out.
  5. Follow the Bulk Update Products steps to upload the template.

Product Actions

For Google Shopping product actions:

  1. Go to the Product Details page.
  2. Click Toolbox and select Google Shopping.
  3. Click Actions and select:
    1. Post Product to Google Shopping – To post the product and create the listing. Sellercloud pulls a unique listing ID into the Active Listing ID field.
    2. Revise Price & Inventory to Google Shopping – To update the product’s current price and available quantities on its Google Shopping listing.
    3. Update Images to Google Shopping – To send the product images in Sellercloud to Google Shopping.
    4. Preview Description – To preview the product’s Amazon description.

When you perform a Post or Revise action, Sellercloud sends the update immediately, but the information may not reflect on Google destinations for up to two hours.

Bulk Actions

To perform these actions in bulk:

  1. Go to Inventory > Manage Inventory.
  2. Select products.
  3. Click Select Actions and select:
    1. Launch on ChannelTo post or update the Google Shopping listing.
    2. Update Prices on ChannelTo update the product’s price on the Google Shopping listing.
    3. Update Inventory on Channel – To update the product’s inventory on Google Shopping.
    4. Restrict/Unrestrict For Channel – To Restrict or unrestrict the product for Google Shopping.
