Qty Sold by Channel Summary

Overview

In this article you will find out how to manage Qty Sold by Channel Summary report on Sellercloud.  This report summarizes qty sold per channel in specified date range.


Filters

There are numerous filters to include the data you want in your report. Most filters offer single-choice and multiple-choice fields.

In Sellercloud, to access this report:

  1. Go to Reports > Sales Qty Sold by Channel Summary.
  2. Chose your filters > Click Run Report.
    Note: After clicking Run Report to show these transactions, you can see each specific filter you applied. If a filter is not shown, you left it blank or chose Allqty sold by channel summary

The table below defines each of the filters.

FILTER DESCRIPTION
Company Include only the orders from one or more companies, or include orders from all companies.
Company Groups* Include only the orders from one group of companies, or include orders from all companies.

*Only shown if you enabled the company group setting and grouped companies together. Learn how.

Channel Include only the orders from one or more sales channels, or include orders from all channels.
Date Range
  • Custom (default) – Enter the Start and End dates. For a single date, choose the same Start and End date.
  • Date ranges (presets) – There are choices from Yesterday to the Last Year.
Start Date and End Date If you chose a custom date range, choose the starting and ending dates. If you chose a default date range, these will auto-populate.
Date Type Have orders, and their associated activity, reflected in one of three ways:

  • By Transaction date – View all order activity that occurred within your selected date range.
    Note: This will use the ship date for sales (debit) transactions.
  • By Ship date – View all orders and their associated activity where ship date is in your selected date range.
  • By Order date – View all shipped orders and their associated activity where order date is in your selected date range.
Manufacturer Include only the products belonging to one manufacturer, or include all products.
Brand Include only the products belonging to one brand, or include all products.
Vendor

Include only the products belonging to one vendor, or include all products.

Note: For dropship orders, this will be the vendor that the products were actually purchased from.

Purchaser  Include only the products belonging to one or more purchasers, or include all products.
SKU Note: For shadow products, this filter is dependent on the Use Original ProductID (shadow) setting.

  • For one SKU – Enter a specific SKU > Click Run Report.
  • For all SKUs in your date range – Leave this field blank and click Run Report.
  • To enter multiple SKUs, click SKU List > Enter or copy/paste multiple SKUs on separate lines > Click Select Products to populate the SKU box > Run Report.
Product Type Include only the products belonging to one product type, or include all products.
Use Original ProductID (shadow) If checked, the filter uses the original orders’ shadow SKUs. If unchecked, the filter uses the orders’ parent SKUs.
 

If checked this excludes information about dropship inventory in the report.

Note: Does not include Dropship Inventory in Available Qty.


The Grid Data

Take a look at a sample grid report:

You can export this report to a spreadsheet with additional data by clicking the Export to Excel icon. export to excel

The table below defines each of these columns:

COLUMN DESCRIPTION
SKU Unique stock keeping unit (SKU) code assigned to the product.

*For shadow products: This is the parent SKU; whereas, this is the original shadow SKU if Show Product by Original (Shadow) SKU is checked.

On Order Shows the number based on qty that is ordered from a vendor but not yet received.
Available Qty Quantity of items available.
Average Selling Price The price for average sales.
Qty Sold Quantity of items sold.
Total Sales The price for total sales.
Channel Name Number of sales for that particular channel.

The Spreadsheet Data

Exported spreadsheets include more data than the grid report. Spreadsheets also let you manipulate data, such as filter within a column, sort with advanced parameters, etc. You can even create custom bar graphs and pie charts; for example, to show daily sales trends for a selected date range.

COLUMN DESCRIPTION
ProductID Unique stock keeping unit (SKU) code assigned to the product.
ProductName Shows the name of the product.
CompanyName Shows the company name.
ProductGroup Shows the name of the product group.
ASIN Shows the unique ASIN number of the product.
UPC Shows number of the UPC.
OnOrder Shows the number based on qty that is ordered from a vendor but not yet received.
AvailableQty Quantity of items available.
AverageSellingPrice The price for average sales.
QtySold Quantity of items sold.
TotalSales Shows the price of total sales.
Channel Name Number of sales for that particular channel.
