Qty Sold by Product

Overview

In this article, you will find out how to manage Qty Sold by Product report on Sellercloud.  This report summarizes quantity sold by product in the specified date range.


Filters

There are numerous filters to include the data you want in your report. Most filters offer single-choice and multiple-choice fields.

In Sellercloud, to access this report:

  1. Go to Reports > Sales Qty Sold by Product.
  2. Chose your filters > Click Run Report.
    Note: After clicking Run Report to show these transactions, you can see each specific filter you applied. If a filter is not shown, you left it blank or chose Allqty sold by product

The table below defines each of the filters.

FILTER DESCRIPTION
Company Include only the orders from one or more companies, or include orders from all companies.
Company Groups* Include only the orders from one group of companies, or include orders from all companies.

*Only shown if you enabled the company group setting and grouped companies together. Learn how.

Channel Include only the orders from one or more sales channels, or include orders from all channels.
Date Range
  • Custom (default) – Enter the Start and End dates. For a single date, choose the same Start and End date.
  • Date ranges (presets) – There are choices from Yesterday to the Last Year.
Start Date and End Date If you choose a custom date range, choose the starting and ending dates. If you chose a default date range, these will auto-populate.
Date Type Have orders, and their associated activity, reflected in one of three ways:

  • By Transaction date – View all order activity that occurred within your selected date range.
    Note: This will use the ship date for sales (debit) transactions.
  • By Ship date – View all orders and their associated activity where ship date is in your selected date range.
  • By Order date – View all shipped orders and their associated activity where order date is in your selected date range.
Manufacturer Include only the products belonging to one manufacturer, or include all products.
Brand Include only the products belonging to one brand, or include all products.
Vendor

Include only the products belonging to one vendor, or include all products.

Note: For dropship orders, this will be the vendor that the products were actually purchased from.

Purchaser  Include only the products belonging to one or more purchasers, or include all products.
Product Group Include only the products belonging to one product group, or include all products.
Product Type Include only the products belonging to one product type, or include all product types.
Marketing Source Include products only from one marketing source or choose all.
Ship From Warehouse Include products only from a specific warehouse or choose all.
SKU Note: For shadow products, this filter is dependent on the Use Original ProductID (shadow) setting.

  • For one SKU – Enter a specific SKU > Click Run Report.
  • For all SKUs in your date range – Leave this field blank and click Run Report.
  • To enter multiple SKUs, click SKU List > Enter or copy/paste multiple SKUs on separate lines > Click Select Products to populate the SKU box > Run Report.
Exclude Dropship Inventory If checked, the filter excludes information about dropship inventory in the report.
Use Original ProductID (shadow) If checked, the filter uses the original orders’ shadow SKUs. If unchecked, the filter uses the orders’ parent SKUs.

The Grid Data

Take a look at a sample grid report:

You can export this report to a spreadsheet with additional data by clicking the Export to Excel icon.

COLUMN DESCRIPTION
SKU The unique number of the product.
Product Name Shows the name of the product.
Manufacturer Shows products belonging to one manufacturer.
Purchaser

 

Shows products belonging to one or more purchasers.

Orders Shows the number of orders for that particular product.
Qty Sold The number of products sold.
Sales The sales amount for that the product was sold for.
On Order Shows the number based on qty that is ordered from a vendor but not yet received.
Available Qty Shows the number of units available for sale for that product.
Reserved Qty Shows the number of units reserved for that product.
Physical Qty Shows the number of total inventory that the product has in all warehouses.

The Spreadsheet Data

Exported spreadsheets include more data than the grid report. Spreadsheets also let you manipulate data, such as filter within a column, sort with advanced parameters, etc. You can even create custom bar graphs and pie charts; for example, to show daily sales trends for a selected date range.

COLUMN DESCRIPTION
SKU The unique number of the product.
ASIN Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN) is a ten-digit alphanumeric code that identifies products on Amazon.
Product Name Shows the name of the product.
Product Type Shows the category of the product.
Condition Shows information about the condition of the product.
Vendor Shows the name of the vendor.
Manufacturer Shows the name of the manufacturer.
Manufacturer SKU Shows the SKU number of the manufacturer.
Purchaser

 

Shows e-mail address of the purchaser.

Orders Shows the number of orders for that particular product.
Qty Sold The number of products sold.
Sales The sales amount for that the product was sold for.
Subtotal Total amount of the items before any discounts, tax, shipping, etc.
Commission Commission fees from orders.
Shipping Cost The cost of outbound shipping.

  • For FBA – This includes the following fee types: FBA Per Unit Fulfillment Fee, FBA Weight Based Fee, FBA Per Order Fulfillment Fee, Shipping Chargeback, Gift Wrap Chargeback, and Cross-Border Fulfillment Fee.
On Order Shows the number based on qty that is ordered from a vendor but not yet received.
Available Qty Shows the number of units available for sale for that product.
Reserved Qty Shows the number of units reserved for that product.
Physical Qty Shows the number of total inventory that the product has in all warehouses.
Package Weight Shows information about the weight of the package.
