Inventory by Warehouse Detail

Overview

This article will teach you about Sellercloud’s Inventory by Warehouse Detail report. This report shows the total physical inventory and value of products in each separate warehouse for a specific time period.

You can see the following information:

  • Products – name, brand, SKU, ASIN, and status.
  • Purchasing – manufacturer, vendor, and purchaser.
  • Inventory – in each individual warehouse.
  • Price – value and cost.

You can run this report automatically on a regular basis with Scheduled Tasks.

Access and Customize the Report

To use the report, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Inventory > Inventory By Warehouse Detail.
  2. Set up the Default and Custom filters to have the report show precisely what you need.
  3. Click Search. Each filter you apply gets highlighted in green. If a filter is gray or not displayed at all, it’s not active.
  4. To manage the columns in the report, click the three dots icon on the top right and select Customize Columns. You can:
    1. Reorder columns by dragging them up or down in the list;
    2. Hide columns by clicking the Trash icons;
    3. Add columns by clicking Add column.
  5. To sort the data differently, use the Sort by menu.
  6. To save your filtering and sorting options, click Save view, type a Name and click Save.
  7. To export the full report to a spreadsheet, click Actions on the bottom right and select Export to Excel. Spreadsheets include all columns, including those hidden in the report.

Filter and Column Definitions

Click the drop-downs below for filter and column descriptions.

Default Filters
FILTER DESCRIPTION
Company Include only the inventory info from one or more companies.
Date Type Select from As of Date, Date Range, and Real Time to change how the date filters work.

  • If you select As of Date, you will see product inventory info starting from the date you specify.
  • If you select Date Range, you will see product inventory info from that specific date range.
  • If you select Real Time, you will see product inventory info from today.
As Of Date Include only inventory info from a specific date.
Date Range Select a preset time range from Yesterday to Last Year.
Custom Date Range Enter the Start and End dates. For a single date, choose the same Start and End date.
Custom Filters
FILTER DESCRIPTION
Brand Include only items from one or more brands.
Company Groups Include only items belonging to a group of companies.
Do Not Include Inventory from Dropship Warehouses Include or exclude inventory info from dropship warehouses.
Do Not Include Warehouses with Zero Inventory Include or exclude warehouses with zero inventory.
Exclude negative inventory in totals Include inventory info only for items produced by a specific manufacturer.
Group Products by Parent SKU Whether to group together products by a parent SKU or not.
Manufacturer Include only the products from one or more manufacturers.
Product Groups Include only the products from one or more product groups.
Product Status Include only products that have Active or Inactive statuses.
Purchaser Include only products bought by one or more purchasers.
SKU Include only specific SKUs.
Vendor Include only the products from one or more vendors.
Warehouses Include inventory info only for specific warehouses.

Report Data
COLUMN DESCRIPTION
Date Shows the date for which the inventory info is calculated.
Note: Only available in the report’s web interface.
Company Shows the company selling the product.
Note: Only available in the report’s web interface.
SKU Shows the SKU code assigned to the product.
Product Name Shows the name of the product from the product summary.
Product Type Shows the product’s type.
Note: Only available when you export the report to a spreadsheet.
Product Status Shows the product’s Active or Inactive status.
ASIN Shows the Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN).
UPC Shows the Universal Product Code (UPC) assigned to the product.
Brand The product’s brand.
Manufacturer Shows the product’s manufacturer.
Note: Only available when you export the report to a spreadsheet.
Vendor Shows the product’s vendor.
Purchaser Shows the contact email address of the purchaser.
All Warehouse Columns One column for each warehouse.
Total Shows the total quantity of products across all warehouses.
Cost Shows the cost value of the item from the product summary.

The cost used in this report will be based on a choice in the Client Setting Order Profit & Loss Calculated Using on the date specified. Three costs are available in this Client Setting:

  • Average cost – Cost of units continually averaged.
  • Last Cost – Cost of an item on the last purchase order in which it was received.
  • Site Cost – Current value in the Product Summary’s Site Cost field.
Cost Type Shows the cost type for the products. The cost type is determined based on the Client Setting Order Profit & Loss Calculated Using.
Note: Only available when you export the report to a spreadsheet.
Value Shows the total value of the product’s inventory in a specific warehouse. The value is based on the product’s cost multiplied by the physical quantity.
Location Notes Shows the location notes of the products.
