Shopify Listings Management

Overview

Sellercloud can send all product information to Shopify, including images and descriptions. Learn how to enable, post, and update products for Shopify.

Prepare a Product for Shopify

Before posting a product to Shopify, make sure it’s Shopify ready. The only required attribute to post to Shopify is the Title, which is the Sellercloud product name. The product must be Website Enabled on the Website Properties page for the available inventory to upload; otherwise, an inventory of zero will upload for that product.

  1. Go to Catalog > Manage Catalog > Select a product.
  2. On the Product Details page, go to Toolbox > Website Properties > Edit.
  3. In the General panel, select Enabled > Save.Shopify enabled

Products can be posted from the Website Properties page individually or in bulk via the Manage Inventory page.

If the product has a List Price, Sellerсloud will send that together with the Site Price/Sale Price to show a comparison on Shopify.

  1. Go to Catalog > Manage Catalog > Select a product.
  2. In Toolbox, select Website Properties.

  2. For two or three dimensions, like Color and Size:
    1. Go to Catalog > Manage Catalog > Select a product.

The only products that are included in the automatic feed are those with inventory and pricing values that differ from the values on their Shopify active listing. You can also select the needed products and update them manually.

If the product was added directly through Shopify, ensure that Track Inventory is selected in the Inventory Policy dropdown on the product in Shopify. (This will be done automatically when posting the product through Sellercloud.)

Automatically

  1. Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Select a company.
  2. In Toolbox, select Website > General > Edit.
  3. In the Options panel, select Allow Inventory/Price Upload.Shopify automatic update

Import Shopify Listings

If you have products on Shopify, you must import these listings into Sellercloud. 1. Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Select a company.
  2. In Toolbox, select Website > Shopify General > Edit.
  3. Click Actions > Download Listings.
  4. Select the date range when the products were created on Shopify > click Download.
This produces a queued job that exports a file of all current Shopify listings with their variant IDs. Click on the job number to open the Job Details page where you monitor the job and ensure its successful completion.Shopify date range
