Custom Price Calculations

Overview

Custom Price Calculations in Sellercloud provide you with the ability to create custom pricing rules to calculate product prices. It allows you to set up price rules based on product attributes, such as Brand, Category, and other criteria. The rules can be used to calculate both regular and sale prices.

Price rules can be set up to apply discounts, surcharges, or a fixed price. Additionally, custom calculations can be used to apply different pricing strategies, such as cost-plus pricing, markup pricing, and more.

Examples

Attached below are several Examples of custom price calculations that can be built for you.

  • For example, Sellercloud can create customization to calculate a floor price based on the product’s average cost, shipping fees, and commission fees. The shipping fees can be determined by the product’s ShippingFee or by company custom settings based on the product’s weight.
  • Let’s say you’re selling on Walmart Marketplace and you want to add markups to your product prices. Sellercloud can build such customization for you. These markups can be a fixed dollar amount or a percentage and can be set at both the product level and the channel/company level.
  • Another scenario to consider is if you are dropshipping an item and would like your selling price to automatically take into account any applicable Vendor Fees in the Custom Price Calculation. In such cases, you can reach out to Sellercloud Support with your specific requirements.
