Product Age Summary

Overview

In this article, you will learn about Sellercloud’s Product Age Summary report. This report shows the age and last sold date of each SKU created during a time period you select. Last sold dates include both individual as well as kit sales of an SKU. You can see information about:

Products - Product Name, SKU, and Manufacturer.
Product history - Creation Date, Age, and Last Received.
Sales - Site Cost and Price, Product Margin, Last Sold Individually and Last Sold as a Component.
Inventory - Physical and Available quantities.

Access and Customize the Report

To use the report, follow these steps:

Navigate to Reports > Inventory > Product Age Summary.
Set up the Default and Custom filters to have the report show precisely what you need.
Click Search. Each filter you apply gets highlighted in green. If a filter is gray or not displayed at all, it’s not active.
To manage the columns in the report, click the three dots icon on the top right and select Customize Columns. You can:
1. Reorder columns by dragging them up or down in the list.
2. Hide columns by clicking the Trash icons.
3. Add columns by clicking Add column.
To sort the data differently, use the Sort by menu.
To save your filtering and sorting options, click Save view, type a Name and click Save.
To export the full report to a spreadsheet, click Actions on the bottom right and select the desired format – Excel, CSV, or PDF. Spreadsheets include all columns, including those hidden in the report.

Filter and Column Definitions

Below you will find descriptions of the available filters and columns.

Default Filters

FILTER	DESCRIPTION
Company	Include inventory info from one or more Companies.

Custom Filters

FILTER	DESCRIPTION
Brand	Include only products from one or more Brands.
Company Groups	Include only products from one or more Company Groups.
Manufacturer	Include only products from one or more Manufacturers.
Purchaser	Include only products assigned to one or more purchasers.
SKU	Include only one or more SKUs.
Vendor	Include only products from one or more Vendors.
Calculate Age of Independent Kit based on Kit Assembly Date	Determines how the age of independent kits is calculated: Yes — Calculates the kit’s age based on the kit assembly date. No — Calculates the kit’s age based on the receiving dates of the component SKUs.
Exclude FBA and WFS Warehouses	Specifies whether inventory from FBA and WFS warehouses is excluded, or not.
Exclude Unsellable Warehouses (aside for FBA and WFS)	Specifies whether inventory from unsellable warehouses (excluding FBA and WFS) is excluded, or not.
Product Status	Limits the report results to SKUs that match the selected product status values - Active, Inactive, or All.

Report Data

COLUMN	DESCRIPTION
Sku	Shows the unique SKU code assigned to the product.
Product Name	Shows the product’s name.
Manufacturer	Shows the product’s Manufacturer.
Creation Date	Shows when the product was added to Sellercloud.
Age	Shows the number of days that passed since the product's creation date.
Last Received	Shows when the last purchase order that includes the product was received.
Last Sold Individually	Shows when the product was last sold individually.
Last Sold as Component	Shows when the product was last sold as a Kit component.
Available Qty	Corresponds to Available Qty on the product page. If a warehouse is not sellable, you will see 0.
Physical Qty	Corresponds to Physical Inventory on the product page. Calculated as such: Available + Reserved + non-saleable inventory (not shown in the report).
Last Purchased	Indicates the most recent date and time the SKU was purchased.
Qty From Last Receiving	Displays the quantity received in the most recent inventory receiving.
Average Cost	Displays the average cost per unit, calculated based on your predefined Average Cost Calculation.
Qty Prior To Last Receiving	Indicates the product's inventory quantity before the most recent receiving.
Age Since Last Receiving	Displays the number of days that have passed since the SKU was most recently received.
Cost On Last PO	Indicates the cost per unit on the most recent purchase order.
Site Cost	Shows the cost per unit for the specific site.
Site Price	Indicates the SKU’s site price.
Product Margin	Indicates the profit margin of the SKU.
Inventory Cost	Shows the total cost value of the SKU’s current available inventory.
Potential Profit	Displays the estimated profit of the SKU based on current inventory.
Profit Margin	Indicates the percentage profit of the SKU.
Average Age	Shows the average number of days the SKU’s inventory has been in stock.
0-30 31-60 61-90 91-120 121-180 180+	Each column displays the number of SKUs received within the corresponding time range (in days).
