Manage/Update Channel Listings

Overview

When posting and updating products to channels, you should make sure they have the minimum information required by the channel filled out and that your channel accounts are fully integrated. Once a product is launched, you can manage and update listing specifics, priceinventory and more, to the extent allowed by the channel.

This article covers the basics of managing and updating your listings. Learn more about the initial launching process on this page here.

Update Channel Listings

Sellercloud makes viewing and updating your listings across multiple channels easy. To update your listings:

  1. Go to Catalog > Manage Catalog.
  2. Select the listings you wish to update > Press the Action icon in the bottom-right corner > Select an option. The available actions are listed in the Actions to Manage Listings section below.
  3. Use the drop-down menu in the pop-up window to choose your channel(s). Re-select the items you want to update if the option requires it, and press Update (or the button at the lower-right corner). The image shows how to update images on channel.
Sometimes, there may not be a specific action in Sellercloud to update certain listing information, such as the listing description. In this case, use Launch on Channel again to update that information. It will not post a new duplicate listing.

  1. Go to the Manage inventory page and open the Advanced Search tab.
  2. Each channel has a filter with different status related to the product readiness and listing status.
  3. Select the Posted and Active filter. Be aware that the search results return listings that are on the channels’ Active Listing Report that SellerCloud has received from the channel. SellerCloud periodically runs a service that looks at products on the reports and marks them as Posted and Active, etc. Therefore, you may have products that have been recently posted but will not be included in the Posted and Active search results.
